I'd say not, but it still jams. (Not that I have any kids, but I am trying my best! (...and then killing them if one starts off.))

I got this so I'm safe everywhere I go. If I run out of ammo I can hit them with it, but with 17+1 rounds that seems unlikely.

https://www.youtube.com/@Psych/videos That was basically this entire show. Also "The Mentalist" was pretty good too IIRC, but it felt like a ripoff (because it was.) Honestly I used to like both but now I watch neither. I hate cop shows and copaganda.

I don't blame the dealers, or at least not all of them. They're just filling a hole in the market and some try to do that as ethically as possible. Those that push hard drugs and sell to kids can fuck right off though. However, it's the people who can't handle their shit who are really to blame. Also maybe society for not explaining just how horrible drugs are in the first place. There's a lot of glorification of that in the media and that's a problem, but that isn't going to stop because free speech. We really need a better ad campaign to counter the mountains of crap that get spewed forth by media. As far as anti-drug ads I don't see those anywhere near like I did as a kid. Not that they really worked then either. I think the reality documentaries do a better job of explaining things anyway. Part of the reason why drugs are so bad is that people don't want to get high, they just want the pain to stop, or to just feel something again. They just go about it the wrong way but because they are forced to. Doctors and legal drugs are expensive while illegal street level stuff isn't. Also the CIA giving it to inner city kids wasn't any help either. -

Losing a parent sucks at any age, but in your 90s is a pretty good run. As far as weird shit in a hospital goes. No leftover suffering energies exist. The only things that exist are suffering from the living, bad attitudes from overworked staff, and being in an unfamiliar place. Don't need any spirituality to make it suck, it can do all that just fine in the natural world. I think being in the hospital is one of the safest places you can be though. Sure more people die there but that's only because they were already sick and there was no saving them. However, if you have a treatable medical emergency it's way more likely you'll get saved with faster access to medical care. I just wish they weren't so damned expensive. People like to blame capitalism for that but I blame the government, insurance, and drug companies who set up the system like it is.

Last night I drove to East Lansing and back and only used a little over a quarter tank of gas, maybe a third. -

Nice, The Picassos are great, especially with that new keyboardist they have. -
Literally just scrolling through Reddit: https://www.salon.com/2023/08/05/are-humans-a-cancer-on-the-planet-a-physician-argues-that-civilization-is-truly-carcinogenic/ When I say all humans I mean all humans. Even if a human isn't horrible, they have the capability to breed more horrible humans. It really doesn't matter though because heat-death of the universe will end everything eventually anyway. The only thing that really changes is if we die out as a type 0 civilization before we can really progress.

You sound like you'd use teeth too :P -
I have no issues with slugs. Those Brown Recluse assholes can all die in a fire though. My parents used to know a guy who got bit on the back working on his deck by one. He walked with a cane for a while after that, and still had a limp last I heard. Anyway work lights are awesome. As fun as it might sound, I wasn't suggesting anyone should work in complete darkness.

Better than Nascar at least, which is just a lot of turning left. How do Nascar drivers make a right at an intersection? They go up to the next one and make three lefts. Why do Nascar drivers always eat last at parties? Because they just like to wait until the end and take whatever's left. Speaking of parties that LeMon party isn't really my thing but I'm happy you enjoy it.
