Well rested because I overslept, and well fed because I still made it to @Serxera's place for dinner.

I prefer songs by fat boys :P I wouldn't call it a "repeat 1" though

It absolutely is though. The right likes to finger point and go "THEM" when they're guilty of the exact same shit. Creepy may not have a side, but they use it to claim that the other side are amoral and pedos. Or did you completely forget about pizza gate? I think that was done on purpose to try to make people look crazy and take heat off of Epstine and the whole #metoo thing. But it's also quite probable that people on 4chan are just nuts too and took that too far.

VAZUM & Palm Ghosts at Bowlero August 12th
Scary Guy replied to VAZUM's topic in Nightlife, Events & Concerts
Not a huge turnout, but Bowlero isn't a huge venue so it was a nice crowd. Seemed like very few were there for the bands which was unfortunate. The afterparty didn't last too long and wrapped up around 2AM. First band sounded good but Vazum sounded awful. Sound guy was a right proper professional dick, good job telling the band that they sounded off. I'd have done a much better job but it is what it is. Is an even mix with just a bit more in the vocals too much to ask for? Well at least he wasn't a drunk, but he did the bare minimum. You pay $40 for a sound guy you get $40 worth of a sound guy. I guess I can't complain too much since it was a free concert. Again, you get what you pay for. That other guy with the mutton chops is cool as fuck though. He was messing with a camera he had hooked up and we talked about them wiring in something more permanent. I think suggested the idea of feeding the video to the bowling alley scoreboards and he thought that was neat. He mentioned he also doesn't get paid for any of his video editing work which is a shame, since I guess they use it for promotion. -

I don't either, and it's happened before with alcohol. This has two effects, with one far more sinister than the other: 1. Anyone smart enough will stop using. 2. It kills off the poor and uneducated on purpose to get rid of people the government deems undesirable. Good dealers don't want to lace their products with anything as it reduces the quality and gives them a bad name. They especially don't want to lace it with anything harmful either since a dead customer is one they can't sell to. I'm not saying all dealers are purely moral/ethical at all. Cutting with baby powder has been a thing since there was asbestos in it I'm sure, but most people didn't think that it was even in it at the time. -
Shows like Ren and Stimpy warped our fragile child minds.

Whelp, this is indeed a fucked up thread. HERE LET ME HELP! https://www.youtube.com/@MeatCanyon/videos All of his work, like all of it. -
I'm sure they'll do fine, unless you're Irish :P (I'm part Irish so I get to make that joke.)

Hearing you describe him it sounds like he has textbook narcissism. At least with the deflection, controlling you to get his way, gaslighting you to make things sound like they're completely your fault etc... Also sounds like you have depression on top of everything else, but who wouldn't in your situation. I hope things get better, and they probably will once he leaves. Who's name is on the title to the place though? If it's yours then you can always evict him. If it's his I'm afraid the law doesn't care who uses most of it or takes care of it more. Best of luck getting used to it.

It already is. It's kind of cool to look at profiles to see people's old handles. However, having those fields makes the forum look dated and old, because it is. The problem with that is it could potentially turn off new members from joining. Though that's really just their loss then.

Asks for dad jokes, proceeds to get jokes about dads. Ultimate sleeper dad joke right there, bravo.

Slurm was, but it was also meant to be. Not like they could use a real brand for that. However: https://theinfosphere.org/List_of_products (it should go without saying that there are spoilers.) There are very few actual products/franchises that I could see. Partridge Family, Doritos, and Harribo were about it before I got overwhelmed and closed the tab.

At least that's enjoyable <3

Extended version of the original mix? Some DJ having a laugh? Downloaded from Napster back in the day?

About to dive into Brave New World.

The Nanny was great but that came later. When I was watching it there were shows like "Car 54 Where Are You?," "My Three Sons," "Dobie Gillis," "The Patty Duke Show," "The Mary Tyler Moore Show," "The Dick Van Dyke Show," "Lancelot Link: Secret Chimp," "Get Smart," "Taxi," "The Monkeys," "Laugh In," "Mr Ed," and a few others that escape my brain. Some of the commercials were good, not then but only now and only for nostalgia's sake. Advertising is a disease. Kind of wish we were like (I think it's) Vermont where all billboards are banned. Product placement has been a thing forever though. I literally just saw part of Beatlejuice on TV and when he was explaining how to say his name because he couldn't say it, the carton of juice being poured into a glass was Minute Made. Oh, Demolition Man had Taco Bell, but in other markets it was Pizza Hut. In the movie "God Bless America" (2011) when they walk into the movie theater, the posters on the wall are other movies that the producers produced (self promotion is still promotion, but that was more of a nod to past work which I can respect.) I find it interesting in both how certain brands are used in things and certain others get a made up brand instead. Or parodies to brands for comedic effect.

Cool, that's not far at all, I mean it is but only by like 30-40 minutes. If you need a sound guy/DJ I'm all about it too. -
No, that's it. They get it right sometimes, but the majority of it is just unfunny political garbage. I do like pretty much all of "Goth Talk" and "Nick Burns" skits though. That was pretty good, the new stuff is okay too but not as great as some of that old magic they had. If you like sketch comedy there's a lot of good stuff. It's all hit or miss though. Some of my favorites: Chappelle's Show Jam Mad TV The Upright Citizens Brigade The Vacant Lot Who's Line is it Anyway Wondershowzen There's a whole list here. SCTV was special though. I used to watch that on Nick at Night back in the 80s along with SNL when it was good, or maybe I just thought it was good because there were only like 50 stations on cable then and I was too young to know any better.
