Have you only been banned twice? I've been thrice so far, and I'm not sure that'll happen again but I am a notorious asshole so it isn't impossible. It's not like I learned anything the last times and still stand by whatever it was I said/did. It's also not like I was trying to offend anyone either though, it just sorta happens. Also you're honestly kind of tame compared to Ohster. That's not a challenge, that's just how it is. I remember him from the DCC/KiT forum without all the rules that exist here and he was even worse if you can believe that. But yes, he was just annoying which I don't think anyone should be banned for, I'm just happy he hasn't come back. There are many others I feel the same way about. But I hear you on Cats. I bitched about @Jinx for YEARS and no one believed me until he attacked that girl at Necto in the VIP area and got fired and the scene collectively excommunicated him. So maybe what you say has some merit to it, it's just I haven't seen/heard about it personally. I do remember some other antics but nothing like that, but it's not like I paid very close attention. IF that's true though then I'm really glad she's not around anymore.

I was just letting you know about the trans thing so you (and anyone else reading) wouldn't misgender her, because apparently that's one of the worst things you can ever do along with dead-naming. Also we have some rarely enforced but still quite active rules here. I've already seen one person leave the board recently over whatever admonishing they received. Not that I have any power here and if I did I probably wouldn't use it anyway. I think there are plenty of people who deserve to be called out for various reasons, and I have done that myself in the past. But the place for that is not here. For a board that claims to hate drama there has always been an overwhelming supply of it. The rules try to mitigate that but with many mods they only seem to be enforced when someone feels like it, and even then only against someone they don't like. It seems much better lately with Tron running things though.

I think they just meant upper class. I do not think of them as our betters though. As far as the sun goes I can do without the skin cancer thanks. I mean I don't really go that far out of my way to avoid it, but if there is shade I'm there. I remember being 14 and hanging out with my friend grabbing logs to build a raft. AI is both exciting and scary. It's scary because of all the crap that will be generated. It's awesome because it will be able to sort that out from the real content for us and filter it out of any search results.

What reasons (If there are any) would you have for not going to see a local band that you are a fan of? There are many which include but are not limited to: Distance of the venue. Cover charge is too damn high. People I hate are also on the bill or involved with the venue. I'm busy with another event. I just don't feel like going out that day. I completely forgot about it and now I hate myself. Something happened on their end and the show got canceled. I didn't read anything else besides those questions, though I'm sure some of those points were said already.

My sinuses are acting up due to the rain and the temperature dropping. I hate the cold for many reasons, this is just one of them. I am going to miss those 27 degree nights.

It really depends. Personally I think the boarder is just lines in the dirt. Many think it should be a barrier akin to the Berlin Wall where when you try to cross it you're just shot. Now, most of them don't seem to feel that way about ALL immigrants, just the brown ones from down south "takin' our jerbs!" and Muslims. I think our government should send aid and the military to Mexico and work jointly to rid them of the cartel. Or even better just go right to the source and stop things in Columbia and Brazil. They can work their way up instead of down. Carpet bomb the compound. Turns out the "war on drugs" was never the war it should have been. It's a civil war that attempts (and fails) to treat the symptoms without treating the actual cause. But it was never about the drugs anyway, it was always a war on the poor started by Regan and controlled by the C.I.A.

The problem with online friends is they're not always what they seem more often than real life friends. I mean if he wants to play into stereotypes then sure let him lie and steal. If he doesn't care what society thinks of him that's fine. He'll end up in jail and people will have one more statistic to point at, and I'm pretty sure he doesn't really want that. Racist cops also love locking up black people because then they can't vote or own firearms. Maybe after many years they can try to get their record cleared and that has been happening more often which is great, but I still wouldn't want to rely on that in their shoes. "What's this large gap in your resume?" Again I hope it all works out for him eventually, but it's extremely hard to get through to someone who has decided they do not want to listen.

Well at least he remembered me I suppose. Really the point of that was for him to want to try to earn it from people, but if he doesn't care then why should they? Really I view everyone as an acquaintance anyway unless we're actually hanging out at either their or my place, or something like that. But that's getting off topic. As far as everything else, as usual I can only comment on my perspective. He was nice and well behaved as far as I could tell so I still want to see him do well, but as you well know whether he actually does or not is on him and you've done all you can.
