  1. not a shocker. Corey Haim was not a rockstar Most rockstars can live through an OD or two. Except Keith Richards....who lives through them ALL....course he calls them "naps"
  2. seriously? You do realize that this movie is getting reviews of "lacking any decent ocntent" and "murdering the book".
  3. A USED CAR? not even a new one...but a USED one....and it's a MINIVAN??? You traded your daughter's youth for a minivan?? EPIC FAIL! p.s. yes, I know this is a more serious matter then the age/type of car....but I was PRAYING that it wasn't a used car when I started to read the story...and it turned out TO be a used car....*facepalm*
  4. Stylo - Gorillaz I always loved them
  5. There is LARGE talk about AMC theatres banning the movie, due to Disney cutting back the time between Theatre release and DvD release to like ...8 weeks, there-by cutting back on the profit that AMC and other movie theatres would make from it. Also, many people are blasting the movie over Tim Burton's drastic changes to the story, such as the enormous battle in the movie, and the fact that the Mad Hatter is "wonderlands chosen one" Wow, Tim Burton....we know you like working with Johnny Depp, but was the cock-sucking really ness?? Burton needs to make more films like "Big Fish" and leave the style that made "Willy Wonka" such a horrible looking movie.
  6. Another Day....Another Boner Dead....Welcome to "T-Shirts for VD infected Hookers"

  9. This is about as obvious as Moby Dick being a Sperm Whale....the word "Killer" is in it's title...KILLER whale...not Pacifist Whale...not Non-Violent Whale....nope...KILLER whale. I think what happened is that it seen "Free Willy" and got pissed that no little kid saved him, but instead bought lil stuffed animals of him.
  10. then yes...I seemed to have missed the point. I can't agree that pain is pain...a tattoo needle and a knife have different levels of pain. And no, I haven't known you long enough to have seen you with a "normal hair cut", so thats one factor out...but there is still your height & weight combo that can be a bitch...and as a former "brother" to Lurch, who had your problem to an even harder extent, I understand the problem and think that the discrimination is retarded that height and weight are judged against experience and skill.
  11. Your also above average on height, Rev, which adds seemingly odd proportions to your already skinny frame. It exagerates your appearance, and you know it. I never said that skinny people have NOT been judged, but to say that they have the same, or more, of an amount of discrimination or/ and harassment is preposterious. Before you go off on me again, btw, I don't appreciate using my real name, or the red letter text, maybe your expieriances aren't JUST about your skinniness or your height, but a combination of many things. Lets face it, Rev...you choose to stand out. There are a variety of reasons: clothing, hair, height, tattoos, etc...that anyone can take from when choosing to being discriminatory against you. I have the same problems, between my weight, that damn hat, and how I choose to dress on a day-to-day basis. Yes, if your skinny and Hyper, they CAN assume your on drugs....or assume that you'd had WAY too much sugar in your coffee that morning. Ripped Clothes on ANYONE, regardless of size, will make people assume your destitute, so we'll go ahead and make that point mute. Now, had I not known you better, I do have to say I would have made the same assumption about you, Rev, that others have in the past: "put down the drugs", but it has little to do with your height or weight, but more from your hair, dress, and mannerisms. You do tend to get hyper to the point where it can get hard to follow you in a conversation, Rev, and if one is not used to it, yes, it can lead to the assumption of drug use, something that is not helped with your appearance. You know damn well that it there was to be an "normal average american chart" neither you nor I would be anywhere near the center of that damn thing, for we are at one extreme or another, for a multitude of reasons. I have not lived your life, but I know something of what your going through: the combination of a thin frame and an above average height. I was there to council a very good former friend when he was having a multitude of problems due to his above average height and thin frame. He had even worse problems, because should you choose one day to not dye your hair, and give it an "average american haircut", it would be easier for you to get a job then it would him, because no matter how he changed his hair, his clothes, and tried to put on weight to not look like a giant skeleton, he still faced discrimination for his height alone...and gods know I stared an ungodly long time when I first met him, because I have never seen anyone that tall before. yeah...so I DO have a "big fucking answer" for that.
  12. Cher...no disrespect, but you have to be off your rocker to say that thin people are discriminated against WAY more then fat people. No one blatently stares at thin people while they eat. A thin person has never been asked to leave a restaurant because their size is making other customers uncomfertable. Thin people are not removed from planes, after they passed the required tests, because they are considered a "safety hazard". Thin people are not stared at on buses, trains, parks, concerts, etc. If you and I were to have lunch in a public place, who do you think would get more looks of disdain because of their size, you or me? There is an episode of "Rob & Big", in which they address this very topic. Rob Dyrdek is challenged by his close friend/ body guard, Chris "Big Black" Boykin, to live as a "fellow of size" for a day, to realize how bad it really is. by the end of the episode, Rob has expeiranced multiple episodes of ridicule and looks of disdain, and he is simply in a fat suit. I wish they had some of the more powerful moments of that particular episode on Youtube, but they don't. And I used "Skinnies" as the opposite of "Fatties", which is a slang term used in modern times, and was used several times in the origional story that we are talking about. I did not mean it as a derogatory term, simply as a distinctive slang.
  13. May is in caps to emphisize that it may, or may not, be the case. I do not judge the entire healthy populace by the remarks of those people, but I do believe that many of that populace have similar attitudes, and having been the subject of such judging and discrimination, know what it's like to have such things said to one's face. I honestly don't care if it's complimentary to myself, and I don't say that to mean that "I can say anything and everyone be damned", but more in a sense of "let them say what they want....cuz I'm still the cool, fat guy in the back hanging out with the celebs and rockstars, while you are the skinny douche in the front wishing you could." I'm fat...and as I stated before, expect for a few things here and there, I'm ok with it...I've dealt with it, it's not a huge problem in my life, and if anyone wishes to discriminate against me for it, it's not my problem, but theirs.
  14. not fighting, simply stating. I will say that, upon further reading of the situation, I cam across this. The "Skinnies" Outrage While I fully realize that the majority of the Slimmer population MAY not share the views that are shared on this blog, a good number does. If "people of size", such as Mr. Smith and I, are not anti-social and self loathing prior to this, ideals and opinions like those posted are enough to make one want to kill oneself. I wanted to vomit. It can't even be contributed to them being the type of people that are influenced by the OP, because he sympathizes with Kevin's situation. Those ideals and comments that flood that topic, like a tidal wave, are real, and not done just for attention.
  15. doesn't matter....not only did he meet the criteria, but the passengers on either side of him expressed that he was no problem and that he was comfertable. SW had no right, according to THEIR OWN standards, to remove him from that flight.
  16. No, but one can sympathize, and to toss out one's sympathies, just because they have not actually had the situation occur to them, is to toss aside the idea of true charity...and that would be a sad thing indeed. I believe that Obama truly sympathizes with the condition many of the American's are experiencing. Sympathy, and experience of working to solve the problem, can go a long way.
  17. Facing the problems and growing up with them are on different sides of a line. Many people FACE the problem of homelessness without actually being homeless. You can FACE the problem of crime without being a criminal, or part of the law. Many Average Americans FACE problems without being IN or PART of the problem.
  18. It's ok, Cher...according to Southwest Airlines, there is a Manbearpig.....we just know him as Kevin Smith.
  19. from what I am reading, can anyone say LAWSUIT??? I read what Southwest Airlines said about their "size procedure" Southwest Q&A "What is the definitive gauge for a Customer of size? The armrest is the definitive gauge for a Customer of size. It serves as the boundary between seats and measures 17 inches in width. Customers who are unable to lower both armrests and/or who compromise any portion of adjacent seating should proactively book the number of seats needed prior to travel." - Direct quote from their guide. I hope that Kevin SUES THE FUCK OUT OF THEM!!!!
  20. I never claimed that Obama HAD lived that kind of life...I was saying that he was MORE familiar with it then most, because of his work as a community Organizer. You said yourself...he knows the "hip deep"....thats about twice as deep as any politician I can think of...and then most of them scream if their loafer soles get smudges. If this Scott Brown HAS lived it (I will confess, I don't know much about him...will have to read up), then I hope his views and opinions on how to help aid people in those kinds of situations come to a forefront when those subjects arise as a discussion.
  21. gosh...thanks Phee....*grumble* Look...besides the back pain and the "hate myself in photos" bit, I'll admit it....I'm fine with it mostly. Maybe it's not the Obese people that have the REAL problem....maybe it's Skinny America with the real problem. Now, follow with me. WE are not ridiculing you because your size. WE would NEVER build things that someone YOUR size can't fit into to without some serious gut-sucking...except out of spite, and then we would never be able to use it ourselves. WE would never attempt to make rules where someone YOUR size would not be able to sit in a casual dining restaurant, because it "disturbed" other patrons (which btw...go fuck yourself, other patrons...a good number of us are the guys making your food, assholes...as long as we're not shoveling it into our mouths and have it dribbling down our chin, STFU). WE would never claim that one or two of people your size is gonna make a plane use so much fuel that there is the possibility of crashing (which btw....most stupid thing I ever heard in my entire life...8-outta-10 planes refuel at their destinations, or inbetween if it's a long flight...the amount of fuel used is no different then if several skinny people had more then 2-3 bags a piece while traveling...which happens ALL THE TIME...and yet people with extra luggage are not asked to take another flight.) WE don't make shows called "Skinny Looser" or "My life as a 1/8th-of-a-ton teen". Maybe if you STOPPED looking at us like we were a plague, which many of you do, we would STOP being so self-loathing, which many of us are. You can't catch Obesity, we're not cannibals (well...ok..there are a FEW...but there are skinny Cannibals too!!), and we're not gonna have a food fight with our mouths and clothing if you are in a restaurant with us. Many of us have enough problems without you having such a remarkable amount of disdain for us. It's our condition, and we have to deal with it, one way or another. This isn't Second Hand Smoke...there is no Second hand Obesity. Get off your high horse before we tip the fucking horse over. We're Fat....deal with it...we have to.
  22. can be....but if I was skinny, I don't think I would be able to enjoy moshpits as much...and I do LOVE my moshpits...lol
  23. hard to tell in those pictures wheither your having a packzi...or a SMALL CHILD!!! you'd make such a great cannibal. and I hate you...for the amount you can eat, and not look like you gained a pound...lol...j/king MANFEST FOREVER!!!!!!!
  24. lol...healthy as a horse, cept overweight..according to doctors...and except for the back pain, the docs don't forsee my weight effecting anything else, other then self esteem. I can loose it, but exorcise does nothing...I literally have to starve myself...for like 3-4 weeks...and by starve I mean my lunch is a snickers bar....and lunch is my only meal. No...it's NOT healthy...but it worked.
