DGN @ City Club, Saturday, April 12th

Come. Join us. Meet us. Hang out. We're not that scary in person, really.

Leland City Club

400 Bagley Street

Downtown Detroit

You enter by going through an unmarked door on the First Street side of the Ramada Hotel building, located at 400 Bagley Street in downtown Detroit. The club is at the top of the stairwell. (see picture in the link above in the DGN calendar entry)

All are welcome. Come meet some of us weirdos.

Saturday nights from 10:00 p.m. to 4:30 a.m.

Alcoholic drinks until 2:00 a.m., pop and juices served all night.

Admission is $4

18 and up, 21 to drink with proper ID (no exceptions).

No drugs, weapons, chains or spikes.

(The map isn't quite exact. The Ramada is located within the Bagley, 1st, Cass, Plaza Dr. block.)

In case you don't know the "DGN Corner" is to the right of the bar. Currently theres a table, pillar and long narrow wooden table, impossible to miss. Come say hello. If no one is there, stay there, they will show up.

I will be there. Kevin, Jeremy (slingerandstyx) and Mike are coming with. Were celebrating Mikes B-day so I expect lots of attention and hugs! I might get my friend Tommy from my new job to come up too. I'm trying to get a whole group of ppl to come as it might be my last time in awhile.

I want, but Raven still has no job and I can't just keep paying for the two of us and I'm "not allowed" to go by myself 'cause I can't be trusted apparantly :laugh:.

I'll say maybe right now. I've got to check the financial forecast by the time Saturday rolls around.

I'll say "high likelihood" at this point. Pretty much 99.99-% baring health issues if i can get a particular person to come with me. Hope to see you all. :yes

...and to quote something i said elsewhere:

Some people need to bare with me without my glasses, and with the headaches, slow recall (and the darkness) often i don't recognize people right off the bat, please don't be offended if i sometimes cant pull your name out of my crap memory banks really fast.

I may or may not being going. I'm not 100% sure. I'm sure that I'll be more sure as the week progresses. I just have to make sure I don't do any "social" events that keep me busy before then...

I also may have plans the day afterwards, so.. who knows.. but we'll put a tentative confirmation here...

Everyone, PM, Text, call and otherwise bug her to go, constantly. Resistance is Futile. (or Useless as they've been saying in THGTTG) The pretty people count, while high last week, was -1 Asian and was unacceptable. It has been decided.

Sad to say but this time it might be no go due to crank going to a concert and theres no point of getting there extremely late.

If I can manage to atleast get a ride there then it would be 100% :happy:

Oh yes, I'm going for sure. Mike (the one with the odd sleeve) is coming along too as far as I know. And I'm not sure how many of you noticed him last week, but there was a black guy I brought along that was just tearin up the dance floor as well as several sets of female lips. He'll be joining us again too. XD He fuckin loves the place now and will mostly likely end up attending more often than myself. hahaha.

I hope I can go. Will depend on where I am living and if I can get a ride since I have no vehicle and soon won't have access to one. Anyone going from the west area, I will be in Canton hoping things change. I even have clubbing clothes to wear now.

You were there last week? Meh. I had an eye out for ya but i guess i somehow missed you. (Or who i'm pretty sure is you heh) Hopefully this week we'll get a chance to say hi.

      I should be doing all the stuff on my to-do list, which is very long. But the spirit is weary and the flesh is weak, and I'd rather watch the X-Files.   Including, but not limited to: fixing the drier vent fixing my PC (cracked thermal paste?) sorting out boxes of stuff and finding places to put stuff ferrying the last of my crap from the old place fixing outlets painting putting up the shower curtain cleaning the clutter off the table getting the boxes out of the garage Half it it seems like just fixing stuff I don't wanna fix 😞 I'll start it -- tomorrow.

      What a classic. This is one of the things that never leaves my head no matter how hard I try (except I don't try to remove it)   I had forgotten this is one of the earliest ones though. Nearly at 3000 comics now.

      Tired AF... me and Youngblood was out magnet fishin' the Rocky River last night, was an Ef'ed up long day today with the work truck blowin' the trans cooler return lines. Been up all night again tonight again, got back from Leland over to Motor City Casino 'bout 4am and spent hours walkin' every floor level of the casino and parking garages over and over, time after time tryin' to locate rest of my gang... finally found a hidden enclave with a smoking slot machine rom in it that'd I'd been overlooking and all three of 'em ª$$høŁƏ$ was there, they'd been in there tha whole freakin' time... of course Bosshog has no interest in walking away from paying machines yet so I'm sittin' in the back seat of the truck chillin' in the parking garage. Blood sugar bottomed out too low to keep on adventurin' this morn' lol. That's my editorial on last nights crazy in hopes in may entertain someone. All's I got is plenty of 51/50... my cup full o' crazy runneth over so to contribute all this surplus insanity to the greater community at large just seems like a thing to do lol.
