  1. I should be there and would appreciate a card please.
  2. I agree. I am loving the new look. It keeps a Goth look but yet different so to stand out. We as a group are not what some would consider normal Goth. We are more of a eclectic group (hope I used that correctly) in the sense that not everyone would be considered Goth yet we have our common ground. But it is our differences that keeps us unique, fresh and welcoming to all Goth and Non-Goth.
  3. We have a few boxes of VHS tapes here. We may have an extra working VCR hanging around. No remote but would work for playing the tapes. Will look and see.
  4. Thinking Kat needs to come by for some pets.
  5. Was he mumbling I am not here or I am invisible? Maybe he thought he could become ghostlike and have things pass thru him? We know knowledge passes thru him so maybe he believed material objects would too. Who knows.
  6. Sometimes you have to wonder if kids are colorblind to yellow. And deaf to the sound of a bus engine.
  7. I don't think I would say globally accepted. I believe it's more globally expected for Goth's to have a specific look. All decked out in pale makeup, lots of eyeliner, piercings, spikes and such. Most people think it has all to do with the look and attitude. They don't realize it's a mentality, a way of feeling. The fashion, exterior appearance while a part of it, isn't the main part. The outward appearance is either a fashion statement or a preference. It's what is inside that makes one Goth. Basically I think people expect us to look like Edward Scissorhands, a vampire or the Crow.
  8. Same here. I was supposed to go to the grocery store to buy stuff for dinner but it's too late to start what I was going to cook.
  9. It does that to me. I will be online but if screensaver kicks on or I bring up a second window or browser it seems to not show me online.
  10. Sad thing is that if we had the room, would have had a dining room table. Wood top and a cast iron looking frame.
  11. Yes, the gazebo roof appears to be copper. Other than a warm humid night it was nice to walk around the park. Looking forward to doing it again soon. Better temps coming the rest of the week and next week.
  12. Here's a couple of pics from my latest walk in the park. I took these with my new Tamron 18-200mm F3.5-6.3 telephoto lens. This is the new gazebo the city built. They changed the lamp post lights from sodium (yellow) lights to something white.
  13. I hope to make it and would like a card please.
  14. Heritage Park is supposed to be a good Pokémon hunting area. I wasn't sure we were going until after 10 tonight. You'll have to send me your number so I can text you. I am hoping to start doing this at least once a week. I want to get things under control to avoid getting a stent.
  15. Went to the park with Noelle, Dante and the girls tonight. Actually walked the path around the park and snapped a few pics of the park. Feeling pretty good. I think I am going to make this a once or twice a week thing. I need to get active again and taking the girls makes a good excuse to get off of my butt and do it.
  16. I am thinking that Kat needs to come to a gathering.
  17. Even though I don't have any kids of my own, I do understand. I get like that with friends because of things I have been through. I see them going through something similar and I try to let them know to keep their eyes open and to pay attention. So they can spot the warning signs and be proactive in dealing with them.
