Draco1958
Does anyone on here ever meet up for coffee and general chit chat. Something a new person could go to to start getting aquainted with people from this site in a casual way?

TheLordShaper
It does sound like areally good idea to meetup with fellow dgn people outside the clubs. This pub sounds like a good idea but that smoking issue might be probematic. I do like that occassional cigar with my booze. Perhaps its time to put togther another DGN night liek we did at Necto last year. That was a lot of fun and we had decent turnout. Just a thought ~TLS

Reaper
Yeah, that has always been done a long time ago. It just doesn't happen much anymore. I was just talking to Rambo about doing this now that i have my nights freed up again. Didn't care where it was as long as you could drink and so on. Usually it ended up being a Rams Horn or Dennys. I also did a lot of B&W photography while in Detroit today. I tried finding someone to come along as it can get boring by yourself. Unfortunately no one I called was around. Draco1958
There's always Saturday's at CC. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I am referring to meeting up someplace where people can talk without having to talk over music. Plus some new people like myself have never been to CC so I was thinking about something a little easier for new people to handle. Some could be overwhelmed by CC. So I was thinking about something a little more neutral for newbies plus it would be a great way to get a heads up on style of dress for CC and if anyone had questions about where to find clothing, makeup ideas and have at least an idea of what some people look like to make it easier to find them at CC's. Think of t as an ice breaker for those of us new to the scene and a bit shy in the beginning.
Vater Araignee
Sound like a great idea but I would think it would need to be a bit more centralized than Detroit or Warren. Maybe Novi?

Marblez
We have major concentrations in both the Ann Arbor Area and Royal Oak/Ferndale. Actually, the center of the DGN universe has been Livonia. I had actually plotted out the locations of all the DGN'ers that responded and found that that was the most central location for all. Of course, that may have changed. Maybe we oughta do that again?? hmm...

And it's not loud over in the bar area, I mean it's not quiet per se, but you don't have to shout over music everywhere in the club.
