Yeah... not for cosmetics.... no way

as long as your "cosmetics" include the "opps...I made a mistake and got knocked up...but I don't want to deal the consequences of my actions" people....then yes.....not for cosmetics.

If you haven't read the DGN Rules or don't know how to make a point without being rude, go read them and/or just don't post. Ever. Confused? PM me or any other moderator.

No person has the right to enslave another person. It doesn't even matter if their life depends on it. A person has the right to determine their own path.

And from a moral stand point most abortions do not harm people. A 2 month old fetus simply does not have the brain matter to create a mind yet. Its not until the third trimester that the brain is sufficiently developed to give rise to a mind that is self aware. And self awareness does not actually arise until some time after that.

So while an abortion certainly does end life it does not kill a person. It may stop a beating heart but it does not stop a thinking mind.

We can not make a decision illegal... that's WRONG...mKaY!

EVEN if a Lady has a whole bunch of abortions... hey.. it's her body....

It sounds as if you maybe stating personal beliefs as facts sir.... slippery slope that.

LMFAO....we've made TON of decisions Illegal....you walk down the street with a beer in your hand....open intoxicants.....go to Canada with a warrant out.....FLEEING THE COUNTRY.......hell, I think it's illegal to go and request the amputation of your own limbs if there is nothing medically wrong with them...and no...I can't back that up with facts....but I would imagine it is.

Don't care to pay abnormally high and unfair taxes....illegal.

One more isn't gonna break the camels back...specially when it's an "Abused" choice.

In cases of rape yes,once they determine within the first month and a half that the person is pregnant.Also if they can find out with in the first two months that the fetus will have a severe disease or some form of major disability then yes,why let someone suffer.But people who constantly get pregment all the time then itsnot right,there are alot of people out there that just dont have common sense anymore these days.this is my own opinion for myself no one has to agree,nough said.

Also, the poll isnt asking what you believe about abortion (murder/not murder), just if you think it should be legal.

I honestly have no idea why this poll was created when the last discussion ended up such a debacle.

I was simply advocating caution against turning this into another war, just like all the other threads.....having said that, it's NOT the end of discussion because your "it's all about choice, not about the MORALS or the FACTS" attitude says it is. As long as it's civil, and facts are statted, then there is no problem with discussing the continued legalization of Abortion.

Just stating the biology and neurology of the matter. Not trying to make up anything about magic or souls or whatever others might believe.

And trust me. I have been through enough abortion debates to know how intractable it can be. I will not be beating the horse any more than it needs to be beaten. I like horses. It pains me to see them die for the sake of an argument.

i do not like the practice. who has the right to cast judgement on another life, even if it is in the womb, its still living and has the potential to be a human being.. should we deny that right to any life..

but im a lover of life. and see any act of destroying a life of a human once it has grown

the real question, is a fetus human, or on the same level as a animal?

are those who abort with no guilt less likely to respect a baby that is born?

so is it justifiable to destroy the process of a fetus once it started to develop?

this is a question of personal morals on the creation of life. if we cant respect the beginning of life. then how do you suppose we respect life when it is aware and free thinking?
