yes but our debt is not normal. if we take the greek crisis and how austerity could spell doom. can we take the short term hit with a debt looming past our own gdp. and if we cut our socialized programs at this stage to quickly, you will see civil unrest that might not lead to a free market at all. and if goverment can, martial law and the military might be used to police. with how socialized we have become, one cant see switch without a partial collapse, and no matter how logical it is for the long term. people will still think in the short term if its there bellys they want to feed and shelter they need

a lot of libertarian ideas are sound. except the economic anarchy. the belief that capitalism stays capitalistic is rather nieve. i often do not think the argument that monopolies never happen under capitalism because new innovations hammer out the aged companies is not a good. monopolies happen, duopolies happen. and the 1% can happen in a free market. when it comes to banking and loaning money. and the natural ties banks have to the goverment. that is where capitalism evolves. and the free market ends.

i think the labeling is to black and white. if im pro-life does that mean the second the sperm touches the egg suddenly its a human being. but at the same token. if im pro-abortion, how far and for what reasons am i. after-birth abortion is the fringe of this, and i have heard of upto age 3 being spoken of now to take the question to its effects on society in 30 years. which should be taken into account. because politicians and scientists and philosophers who pick sides are picking there sides based of projected data. not specificly on ethics alone. or are basing there whole choice, on the writings of pre-20th century philosophers, we have the over-population arguments. the more perfect human society arguments through genetic selecting, and this one gets into what some call conspiracy theory, its a soft kill to cull the population of those that are poor, and this ties into the scientific eugenic racist trends. that never died from the early 20th century. ie margret sanger... we also have the other effect of the nations that do participate in abortion will have less children then the nations that dont. a japan type syndrome could happen where to little bodies for the workforce, to many elderly.... i think the reasons to be pro-life or pro-choice or inbetween, goes beyond good and evil and beyond simple personal ethics. hmmm do we have the listings of the pro-life and pro-choice stats , based on education, race, gender, economic data, not if someones right or left wing.

i think looking at all the studies done whould give much better information. BUT. we need to use the fair real scientific studies. Not the ones done with a conflict of interest. or downright fake studies... this has been proven and several scientists have been caught completely making up a study to get it past. and getting away with it. so we cant use every study either. my opinion of psych meds are less. unless we have the data to support from a large scale. that these meds are working. is there a drop in depression, anxiety rates, a drop in suicide rates. or a rise. on a side note. benzodiasapins are scary stuff. iv seen people take them and turn into complete assholes within the hour
