Crazy Wisdom in A2?

Howdy y'all!

I have been talking back and fourth with PiggyMama about this for awhile now, and figured I would throw it out there for all to consider?

What if we started meeting up at Crazy Wisdom in Ann Arbor on Main Street every other Sunday afternoon? From like 2-6 PM?

They have an amazing array of books, coffees, teas, smoothies, and desserts (if you have never been there!) plus they have a really HUGE room upstairs where we could all hang out at (assuming that someone has not rented it already) or if it is a NICE ENOUGH day, we can chill outside on their patio in the front of the store?

What do you think about starting this awesome splendifourisness (yes, I frequently make up my own words!) next Sunday the 12th?

Maybe once a month, true gas prices make me want to vomit in my mouth a little everytime I see them! This is just getting ridiculous and something needs to be done about it and soon!

I was just thinking about CW because I know that some of us have been meeting there off and on for awhile now, and I thought I would throw it out there.

Is there another place you can think of?

Mrs Chi Vious lied lol we talked it out and I was GOING to have apiggy-Bday party this monday, but GRG mentioned that no one would show because it was the firstmonday after a very long holiday weekend. so I agree. next day that the lot of us can allcometogether is sunday the 13th.

so plans have been changed... we WILL do CW on abi-weekly basis. but Sunday the 13th will be atmyplace. its actually about 10 minutes fromcrazy wisdom I live on the whitmore lake/ann arbor border. between ann arbor and brighton on US23, but itscloserto ann arbor. its right about the M14 and US23 interchange. next exit north and we are 2blocks fromthe freeway. we have a place right on whitmorelake rd. large yard, small apartment lol (its a house broken into 3apps).

okay,I'll start another thread I guess so anyway... the bi-weekly AA coffeemeeting has been changed to PiggyMama's in north Ann Arbor for a NON-PORK BBQ celebrating her "big pig"s 4th Bday and her "Middle Pig"s 1st bday. they are good with kids! so kids are welcome!!!

Well... aparentlythat is the dateof the camping trip. those of you that posted maybe here on this thread, do you think you can come to my shin-dig??? I hope so!!! I like the idea of meeting up periodically, but maybe we do it once a month in AA at CW?

The gas prices these days have me riding my bike quite a bit to save $$$ & also to use this as my "workout" excuse!

In the meantime, I know there are quite a few of you who go to CC on Sat. nights so that is a good alternative for those who can't/won't drive to AA.

I am thinking that a good time would be on the 20th? A lot of people get paid on the 15th, so I thought that might work out, plus it is two weeks away, so that gives enough notice to plan too.

I can't make it to CC with my new work schedule, (but when you guys are hung over and in need of some sustenance, y'all can come and visit me at the diner I am going to be working for! (I start this Wednesday!!!)

The Diner is called "Greene's" and it is on Orchard Lake Rd. JUST A SMIDGEN PAST 10 Mile Rd. on the right hand side of the street, if you are getting off from I-696.
