DJ Saint
Wednesday, November 21, 2007Thanksgiving Eve @ the Leland City Club For those of you that miss DJ Meta and my versus sets at Necto, here's a chance to relive it! Plenty of options on where to go Thanksgiving eve. Come drink & dance with us if that's your choice - we're the only club spinning industrial open past 2 a.m!!! The bar will be running drink specials all night as well - and you really can't beat one of Marvins Long Islands - can you? Hope to see you there. -Marc (DJ Saint)

Reaper
The previous years when they did this was totally dead. Why do they continue to do it?

DJ Saint
The previous years when they did this was totally dead. Why do they continue to do it? The previous years have had decent crowds. Not the usual Saturday sized or after a concert sized crowds perhaps, but with as many as four clubs in the area spinning similar styled music on the same night, every club takes a hit believe it or not, as people make choices on which club to go to. City Club is open as another option for you and everyone should they wish to attend. And yeah I'm expecting a medium sized crowd this year and those that do show up too have a very fun time. Thanks for your pessism -Saint
xbittergracex
I went halloween 2006 and 2007. 2006 was totally dead and sucked ass. 2007 was a moderately decent crowd...and I had a blast. Just depends I suppose.
Scary Guy
No one knows what the hell is going on because they don't promote. Everyone knows that it's going to be open Friday and Saturday, mandatory, no questions. However they're not usually open during the week so no one knows WTF is going on with holidays. Sometimes they're open and sometimes they're not. More people should bookmark and check the website to keep up on things. Also maybe a huge ass sign in City Club would be a good idea of holidays that they will be open, every year, mandatory, no questions so that people just "know" it will be open and they can go. However they're competing with three other clubs that night, two of them offering free drinks. I hope they do get some customers but I'd think it unlikely. I may show up however just because I like avoiding drama and tonight I won't even have to try.
