from everything i've seen online, they did pass a stop-gap budget - am i misinformed when thinking that no shutdown means people *will* get paid? i thought the lack of pay was only if the gov't shut down?

No. no way i'm giving out all that info. no way in hell. of course, i haven't had to rent in ages either... my suggestion would be to go to a couple more places & see if their applications are similar. if so, i have no suggestions for you, but if they're not, tell this jerkwad to shove off!

happy, that i made some progress on the new place tonight. somewhat upset, because i found out it needs more work than i realized. (quite a bit more)

when i was very young (single-digits, pre-teen), i wanted to be a stuntman! once i hit middle- high-school, i wanted to be an automotive engineer, because i wanted to design cars, but finally realized i didn't have the drive/desire to go through that much schooling. eventually, i decided that i really didn't care what i did, specifically, so long as it afforded me a reasonably comfortable life in which i could pay my bills, and have a little left over for play. i did end up in the automotive field, i really enjoy the work i do (as a general rule!) and i'm comfortable financially, so i'm pretty happy with where i ended up!

did you have to order them online, or did you pick them up somewhere local? i've been looking for some for a while, but don't want to hassle with ordering online, in case the sizes run funny...

better yet, wait till they jump up in the air, then hit em high (or low) so they land on their fucking head! i can't stand those people!
