  1. Sounds like you should try to find a better gig, one with at least a janitorial / maintenance staff that will keep up the building. I mean unless it's specifically stated in your job duties, it's literally not your job. If they want it to be they can give you a raise, but it's still gross. I mean who even cleans the bathrooms? I shudder to think about what those are like.
  2. Sounds like a complete failure of a cult leader to me. I mean seriously, how hard is it to fuck that up?
  3. Honestly it shouldn't be your job anyway. That should go to whomever does janitorial. If they're too cheap to have a janitorial department or at the very least a cleaning lady then that doesn't seem like a great working environment.
  4. I like to party, and as someone who doesn't really do anything I know first hand that you don't need to do various substances to have a good time. I just wish that I had more friends who felt like I do.
  5. Went there years ago and it's already in the list for the bar on the top floor. The entire facility is beautiful though.
  6. It's what they signed on for and if they can't handle that then they shouldn't be cops.
  7. No, that's actually incredibly common. Everyone teased that redhead too, but it was less bullying and more a different kind of unwanted attention (not from me, not saying that I knew better I was just too shy to say anything (and wanted to avoid attention myself.))
  8. Gotta be honest, I thought I'd be dead by 32 when I was about your age, so you'll probably be fine.
  9. They gonna pay you or are they expecting free manual labor? If you enjoy that maybe you should join the Detroit Mower Gang or Blight Busters or something.
  10. I know a girl who grew tits in 7th grade. Everyone wanted to stare at them and she kept her arms crossed the whole class, and I thought she had something on her shirt like one of those funny ones. So I bugged her to see the shirt and when she finally let me I was all disappointed because it was just plain and black. Also happened with a redhead in 8th grade and by that time I was less interested in shirts (but still very interested in them, too.)
  11. I figured that would make the most sense anyway, kind of like a Craigslist / Failbook Marketplace sort of thing.
  12. I don't think I'd go that far just in case they make it in time. I think a smart watch that detects pulse and then notifies the police after it doesn't detect anything for like an hour would be best. Sort of a literal dead man's switch.
  13. Not a fun topic, but a post in another thread got me thinking about it (again.) So, given that you may be lucky enough to pick how you go, how would you prefer to die and what would you prefer happen with your remains? Assuming I'm dying, again I will do all of the drugs then drift off on the wildest trip ever (I never do drugs so I expect it will be amazing.) Here's a very old post that I made detailing the after. That email no longer exists, and some of my wishes/views have changed since then but it's still mostly accurate. Looks like I last updated it in 2011 before they froze that site as an art thing.
  14. I find the bands that are hard to pin down tend to be the best ones, aside from the ones that shine in their own genres. This feels kinda like Citypop mixed with Chillwave, maybe with some Vaporwave elements in it. In any case it's unique and I like it.
  15. I see a few things that might look nice on a bolo tie if they were retrofitted on the back.
  16. Very much this. The problem is also you should handle your pain before you can help others Tron. Unfortunately that's not always possible. It sucks being depended on so much because it takes a lot out of you, and their pain also becomes your pain, and you probably don't really talk about your pain to them because you don't want to burden them or have them worry. In a perfect world there wold be other people and systems to help pick up the slack, but the world is also far from perfect. Also thanks for the complement in the other thread. I live to help people if and when I can (at least as long as they don't act all entitled about it.)
  17. That's a plethora to me. (it means a lot)
  18. It's true that they have it pretty rough, however their struggles do not invalidate your own so try to remember not to be too hard on yourself.
  19. It's really not and I think sports are dumb to begin with, but hockey and especially American football are two of the worst. At least they let them wear helmets now.
