I was a Yooper goth once, back in the 90’s at MTU in Houghton. It was great.

I’m glad Caribou Coffee came back to Michigan. It sucks a lot that they left for as long as they did.

This is Orson. He is almost 19 inches tall and made from concrete. He’s Not as heavy as most of my other larger outdoor fellas (just under 50 lbs). I love how goofy looking he is. Especially his warts. Some, (my wife) has mentioned in the past that he is not a gargoyle but in fact an ogre. It seems whenever this has been brought up, I can only hear mumbling and other incoherent words. He was added around the same time as Jonas (posted above) to make up for a several year dry spell of adding large concrete outdoor gargoyles.

I think I am at more than half of @TronRP’s posts for the week. I think she will be sweating a little when she sees this. Good thing this isn’t a board domination week…. 😳🤫🤣🤣😉

Exceptionally shitty. Stuck home with day 2 of the flu.

Yeah, starting out is rough, especially when the market is doing shitty things everywhere. I had the same problem with my kids UTMA stock account back in 2005 when I opened it. (Man, I wish I bought her some Apple right away instead of waiting til 2014 when I finally jumped on). Those first few years I felt bad about what I lost her and probably added an extra grand or 2 of my money to it to make up for shit market drops/unlucky and poor decisions)

Uggg. I feel you. I did the same thing yesterday with chocolate chip cookies and regretted it as soon as it happened. I’ve got to cut out sweets completely for a while.

Granted! Lucky for you, the theory of relativity allows for the possibility of traveling into the past, but not so much the future. So the best you can do is send charts back to yourself. This creates multiple parallel universes where you are rich! Unfortunately, your consciousness is in this universe, but all the alternate you’s are very grateful. I wish 3 inches of snow wasn’t in the weather forecast for Friday.

Definitely looking forward to this. I am very glad they still have a place inside the Fillmore where you can buy tickets without getting killed with fees. Even if it isn’t really a box office anymore and it’s just a table set up during other shows. I will be on the lower balcony with my wife and 2 great friends including @aequorea getting to old for the main floor. The Bunnymen are a good sit down show anyway.
