I have made my way in life from Catholicism to Wicca to non-denominational Pagan to basic agnostic.

I believe something exists. And I don't need to label she/he/it/whatever.

I believe all religions are valid. I think Buddha, Jesus, Bastet, etc. all rock.

I truly think we're all worshipping the same thing. I'm willing to try my best to live a good life, the "Golden Rule" being the sum guide of all my actions, and die and see either The Great Spirit, Yaweh, Buddha, Ceridwen - or none of the above waiting for me after I die.

I do think I'm going someplace like a Heaven, Rainbow Bridge, Summerlands when I die. I don't think I'm finished when my heart stops beating.

I don't believe in a cruel God. I don't for a second believe he/she/it floats around above the Earth, looks down, and thumps ShadeEverdark on the back of the head for kicks one day, inflicts cancer on TheDark's wife another day, pushes my cousin in front of a drunk driver another day. I don't think he/she/it conjures up hurricanes to punish New Orleans, etc.

If I believe anything in that regard, I belive the Earth was given to us as a gift, and then the Big Guy washed his hands and said, "I've given this to you, now it's up to you to take care of it - or not. Don't blame me if you fuck it up."

I think we bring our ills upon ourselves, and we are also here to help each other out. That if one of us gets cancer and needs treatment, we shouldn't be punished because we can't afford treatment - someone should make treatment available for all. That if someone's house burns down, a replacement should be available for them. That if someone is basically good, other "good" people should be there to help them in times of need.

I do believe that whatever God exists does step in and help people sometimes. I think he/she/it answers prayers sometimes, if not always. I believe he/she/it lends a helping hand on occasion. I believe we don't always understand the good he/she/it does.

I am wavering in my pagan stance. I believe I'm a true agnostic. I'm so not Christian. But I am a Jesusian. And I also believe in many Native American ways, pagan ways, etc. I don't go to services because I prefer one-on-one communication with The Big Guy. I also talk regularly with St. Francis, Mary if I feel the need, etc.

And no, they don't talk back. :wink I'm spiritual, not nuts.

I get equal satisfaction sitting in a pew in a beautiful Catholic Church that I do sitting in the middle of the woods with a big, friendly tree.

So yes, I believe... in something. :wink

...wow literally my sentiments exactly. You saved me about 15 minutes of typing

I also would like to add that I don't necessarily believe in God as just one being or one "person", I believe that God is energy and energy actually equals love. I know it sounds stupid, but just look into string theory and the fact that all of us run on energy. Where does that energy go when we die? Energy cannot be destroyed, only transferred.

I believe that every tangible piece of matter is God and that really it's all just sort of like one big Matrix, if you will.

I do believe though that the energy, in form, is not wholly God and that there is additional energy elsewhere, possibly in another dimension of sorts that is intangible and inconceivable to us, that is the "central intelligence" so to speak. That's why here we have the ability to be sad or miserable, but in a place like "Heaven" we are able to bliss for forever and ever due to the fact that we will be next to the main part of God. Goes back to the energy = love in disguise. That's also why there are so many different forms of energy, I don't believe this applies to all forms, well that and I'm not going to claim to know because simply put: I don't and as a matter of fact I don't believe that any of us is ever supposed to know, or else we would.

I could go on and on and on for days and back this all up with science, but I won't bore you guys or try to seem like I'm "pushing" something on people.

Also on the Planck level of existance, which is nearly inconceivable to us although we know it exists, technically everyone concience or "soul" if you will was created at the beginning of the universe and has been in existance ever since. That one I read about in Discover magazine.

I'm Christian, but the theory above, explains to me why Christianity is able to work like it does.

Funny, thats what my Buddhist guru always taught me.

quote: I believe that God is energy and energy actually equals love.

Coarse he left out the other half of my studies.....the chaos factor......I left to learn more.

Chaos factor?

Do go on. You have my attention.

I'm probably wrong on this but to me if there were to be any sort of a chaos factor regarding energy it would definately have to be nuclear radiation.

As we speak we're actually having bits of our DNA torn out of our body by gamma rays. 'Tis true!

Do I believe in God ? Hmmn, well...... God kills people and animals because he "has to", BUT he "loves" us......Im havin a reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeal difficult time wrapping my mind around that one, so to answer the question, I say yeah, I believe everything happens for a reason, but not sure about God though, I just dunno.

There are two things that man believes exists but cant see. God and Dark Matter. They have a few things in common. They are both supposedly everywhere. They both have always been and always will be. and lastly... man cant define either one.

I believe in God. not the Judeo/Christian/Muslim representation of him though.. it's why I refuse to label myself Christian though many of my beliefs/moral mesh with that group. God, to me, is a quantum consciousness traveling along the stream of quantum possibility. He doesn't need absolute power or absolute knowledge to control the fate of man... He simply has to be aware of all the possible outcomes of the current set of quiffs and then choose which quantum line to follow after those quiffs pop. That is to say... he can see all possible outcomes from every action and choose which one he wants.

    • I'm outside, looking like a crackhead standing on the corner probably scaring the neighbors just waiting. It's cold 🥶
    • That's insane! I mean maybe start administering tests? Like if you can't identify an open door you may have to be weeded out of the candidate pool.
    • ~~~~~ I totally feel you.  One time I literally caught the UPS driver posting the "Sorry" note on my screen door because the front door was wide open...and he missed it?!?
    • This UPS man wants to play with me! He literally came here after he allegedly came here yesterday and some time between the time I was posting about this yesterday until about a half hour ago left a sorry I missed you slip with the delivery notice number on it from yesterday not today,  I called and they said only one delivery attempt has been made to this address and that was yesterday. Omg this bitch ass muthafucker has got for real jokes.
    • Yesterday UPS straight up lied and marked my delivery as some bullshit like delivery attempted. I was literally upstairs cooking dinner and the door is right there, last month they left it on my mailbox no problem. Yesterday I called and they are even more impossible to talk to on the phone,  I told the bitch your people be lying I been here this whole time and she said they should have left something with a number so I checked the mailbox and wasn't shit there. Why lie, why not just reschedule the damn delivery in the first place because idk maybe you had one delivery left but had to take a shit real bad or idk your wife was about to give birth and you had to leave work early or whatever you got going on. I guess it looks better if it's my fault and maybe because having to leave work early because you had to poop or wife or you yourself was about to give birth or get a blow job isn't an option for the drop down check box thing? Idk I'm making up shit now. Just bring me my peptides!
