Fierce Critter
First, what are the 3 clubs included in the price? 1) Obviously, City Club. 2) Confirmed, the Lab. 3) ??? What's the 3rd club??? Where is it? And is this a thing where we can go outside to get to the other clubs and get back in, or are there entrances to each club from within the Ramada somehow? This is important, as Jon will be on-call to report to work if necessary. We're not bringing his cell phone in under the impression that we can go in and out of CC anyway, so he's hiding it in the truck and will run out to call work if he gets paged. Thanks! n0Mad
There are entrances to the Lab and CC from the Ramada, but they're super secret (well, not so much) and they don't let anyone use them. I seriously doubt they'd make allowances for NYE. Heck, the back entrance to the Lab is scary enough. I hate using it even when I have to. Although it is kinda cool in a, "This building may collapse and my life may end at any moment," kinda way. Thank God the service elevators don't work anymore, 'cuz those look scarier than the staircase.
saechalyn
This is how it was last year. I'm guessing this year will be the same. In city club over nearish to the DJ booth there is a door into the ramada and you go downstairs to a TINY little bar - I forget the name of it exactly but I guess it's not usually open. Keep going through that and you come to the stairs for the Lab. Last year they had all inside doors open so you could move freely from place to place without going outside. It was great fun! n0Mad
Well shit on me, so they do open the doors. That's kinda creepy.
saechalyn
Well shit on me, so they do open the doors. That's kinda creepy. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yeah, it was pretty funny. They technically had bouncer types watching the doors so people didn't wreack too much havoc in the Ramada- not that it would matter. Some chick puked in the fountain. That was priceless. Marblez
And no, they didn't allow going outside...well, without paying again. I suggest checking the phone with coat check....and tip well.
Marblez
if you give the check girl a buck everytime you check it and check frequently....she won't let someone run off with it and lose that income, yanno?
LadyWindstone
That little bar is called Club 54 *I think*
Lilith
The little Club i thought was called Studio 54..... It's really small and i honestly dont understand why it is included unless you need a drink all of a sudden on trip down to the Lab. Last year the Lab had great shows and it was probally the best time i had at city ever, and it was super being able to travel freely back and forth. The tickets you got at the door for your Midnight Toast is good at all three places no matter where you enter, and i being it was my First New Years out of the house/ not a house party type thing, it was rather impressive for what was seemingly little money compared to the $45+ price tags other places had. It seems to cost more this year but i am not sure... its been a year who knows. the coat check girl is really sweet, i have had her help me look for things i lost that were not even in her care....... Lestat has forgotten to leave his Cell i nthe car and it has not gotten taken by any one else, She also says Thank You and stuff and just over all i would think would be more then helpful and for the most part in my experience a trust worthy type of person. Scary Guy
Yeah it's Studio 54, I DJ'ed in it last year. I did tons of 80's and some off the wall stuff. There is no going out of the building, let me give somewhat better directions. The doors by the DJ booth were open and that let you into the appartments behind the locked door they buzz you in at the main loby. From there you went down the stairs which took you to 54 (this used to be the peacock and before that was a part of the upstairs labyrinth back when I didn't hate the place, and even further back it was closed and the front was just the old entrance to lab). Then obviously you hang out there or head down the stairs to actual Labyrinth. Did I mention Higgins still owes me for that night? and the 3 days of repair work before hand getting it in shape (sure he comped my food but still, I want some real cash god damnit that cheap ass faggot). But yeah the playlist and fliers are on my website from last years event (which I wouldn't have done if Chris Allen didn't ask me).
Scary Guy
lots of stuff <{POST_SNAPBACK}> To add to that http://www.scary-guy.com/media/images/disp...ge.php?pos=-107 is the flier (front and back) for last years event. It and all the other ones are now easilly accessable via my website. This only took me a couple of hours and I'm pretty happy about it. Every flier I've ever been on is now up.
