Ok DGN peeps...I need your thoughts on what DATE to have this shindig!

I really need time to plan and set things up so I need to know what the interested parties have available for the time span I had mentioned.

Never trust what somebody claims is legal unless you your self have verified it by reading the law yourself.

I'm not saying that infused absinth is illegal for personal consumption because it is not. What I am saying however is, never let somebody do your foot work for you or you may get burned.

I made thirty gallons of hard cider for a party and almost broke the law. Luckily I found out about the twenty gallon limit in Michigan and gave two people 15 each to prevent a breach in law.

I also found out that I can accept donations as long as there is zero guarantee that you will receive my creation.

ok ok, sorry i only picked that one link at random. so i picked a bad link. i can understand if people want to clarify that link is a bad one. thats cool. i wasnt basing what i knew on that link, but using it as an example, and well i picked a bad link. fine.

as for me, my original point was just saying that :

i was only aware of imported european absinth.

the people i know who import it , said what they were doing was illegal.

i trusted these people. why would they think they were being illegal if they really werent? im glad i can tell them that they dont have to hide their importing activities anymore, since people on here say that importing stuff from europe is not crime. although, why should i trust anyone on here? like you say, i want to see proof that importing from europe is not a crime. then i will shove it in my freinds faces and tell them to stop hiding their activties, since it is no cime.

i personally dont drink much of *anything*. i dont like alcohol.

i dont make alcohol. i would never buy alcohol off anyone because i dont like it.

man this whole conversation has been really unpleasant for me. all i wanted to do was raise a point to mr. requiem and about serving various things at the lab, and people keep thinking im talking about other stuff and dragging me deeper and deeper into a hole , since i have to defend myself and dont seem to have the right phraseology to dig myself out of it.

could people stop picking at everything i say please? i hate to be misunderstood, so i will keep defending myself. it upsets me more antd more. i never spoke on this board for a reason, and now that i do speak in one converstation, it turns out just as bad as i expected it would. nobody understands where im coming from, and everyone keeps picking at everything i say.

here, i'll put a disclaimer for you:

yes you did. thank you. i thought everything was cool, until some other person started up on me again.

your going to have to forgive me though, at this point im not interested in attending your party. this is nothing against you personally. i just dont think that i would enjoy it. my personality and interests are way too different from most of the people who talk on this board, so i dont see that i would fit in.
