  5. I have no local suggestions on the non-goth front. You might have some luck in Toledo or Grand Rapids though. In conjunction with the Rideboard, I have a list of Goth, Industrial, New Wave, etc dance nights across the entire state of Michigan. I try to keep it up to date. I'm sure it's possible that there may be something I have missed, so feel free to send me additions or corrections. http://www.umich.edu/~mauraway/eventslist.html

  11. Hi, I hope you can find a ride to Detroit. If all else fails, you might want to check out the MI Goth- Industrial Rideboard that I run. I can't remember off the top of my head, but there might be someone in your area listed on there. I have a thread for it over in the Want Ad section: http://www.detroitgothic.net/index.php?showtopic=2431 I knew a guy from Algonac, and yeah I can understand why you would want to get out of town a little.

  14. Heh heh, as for Hocico, see also http://www.detroitgothic.net/index.php?showtopic=30078
  15. The other opening band, Critical System Error, is also really good.
  16. For the people who were wondering about Hocico, it looks like they are only playing in Chicago. It is being advertised as "their Midwest exclusive appearance".
