We try to have this be the meeting area from 12-1am. If you can help, try to just stay there and mull around even if you don't see anyone, all it takes is a few people.

If you want to post about some other night, or some other club, or bitch about how you weren't breast fed, use some other topic, this isn't the place for it.

I just got an email from City saying there's a show Saturday night. Does anyone know if I have to pay the $15 to get in or can I just pay $4 and not go to the show?

$15 dollars is the cover for Hellbound (which also includes entry to City.) Should you choose not to attend Hellbound, enter through the normal City Club entrance, pay the normal cover charge and voila! :)

I don't want to start any rumors, but there just might be a rare Spook/TaysteeWonderbunny sighting. It's been forever since we've been to the club and we figured we'd support our dear friend The Osaka Koneko at her Hellbound performance.

Then again, hardly anyone is on DGN anymore :crybaby: and I doubt anybody is going to check in before we get there, so I guess I don't have to worry about starting any rumors. :wink

Haven't been to City Club in four months, because I figured that the building is old, and there's black mold in the basement, and with being pregnant I didn't want to harm my unborn kid.

This week, if you are not on my FB, a tragedy happened, and I'm not trying to "milk" for sympathy, just trying to give a head's up as to why I might seem a little down at times (for those not on my FB and don't know). Instead of just loafing in my house and wallowing about my loss, concentrating on my sorrow and making it worse, I've decided that Raven and I might feel better if we go out and dance to music we tolerate, with people we care about, and drinks we love.

That said...we will be at City Club tonight. And with what I said in the first sentence...I'm sure you can deduct what it is that happened suddenly this week...:crybaby:.

    • Yeah, unfortunately, my older sister @Trene4000 was my passenger and she was messed up when I had to drive the truck down the sidewalk to avoid running headlong into cross traffic.  Fortunately, the light was red for them and green for us, but it was at a mandatory right turn, thus the need to use the sidewalk to slow the vehicle down.  We ended up coming to a stop right in the bus stop with both passenger tires on the curb, the driver side tires on the street and the truck straddling the bike lane.   The rep at AAA Roadside Assistance made my tow a priority classifying it as a medical emergency with pedestrian obstruction given that we were on the sidewalk and Trene was on her last canister of oxygen.  😅   Our baby sister (the one you met last June) arrived 30 minutes later to drive her home before she ran out of oxygen and the tow truck arrived 12 minutes after that.   So yes, we are fine and everything worked out.
    • That is terrifying. I’m glad that you’re OK!
    • Never made it to Royal Oak.  Ended up getting towed to the service center after my brake stoppability  dissolved in traffic.  Fortunately, it was after the morning rush hour.  Back in from Enterprise Rental and now it's grass cutting time.
