THEN: the original PP occured at Oz as an infamous weekly DJ dance club night Winter/Spring 2006 mixing together the best of late 70s/80s/and early 90s New Wave, No Wave, Post-Punk, Brit Pop, Manchester, Industrial, Electro, Acid House, Old School Goth, Shoegazer, etc., etc. Due to consistent problems with the owner of Oz, along with the fact that Josh the DJ was deployed to Iraq, the original PP nights ended aburptly at its peak potential.

NOW: Three year later, Plastic Passion Returns!!!

Josh returned safely from Iraq well over a year ago, is forever done with the whole army thing, and has resettled back in Ann Arbor. Due to demand from the old fans and new found interest from No Fun Entertainment / Rock'n'Roll Circus Saturdays @ Heidelberg, PP will return as a monthly dance party event this summer! The best of the old school is back for a new round!

Cure, Depeche Mode, New Order, Smiths, Echo & The Bunnymen, Siouxsie, Front 242, Bauhaus, Love And Rockets, Bowie, Talking Heads, Psych Furs, Cocteau Twins, Skinny Puppy, Joy Division, PIL, Duran Duran, Human League, Nitzer Ebb, Sisters of Mercy, Kate Bush, Clash, Pixies, Ramones, Killing Joke, The The, XTC...you get the idea!
