To be serious, if someone gave me a ride to something, especially from far away, I'd probably make sure I had gas money in advance to pay them. But if the day is right, I'm also down for meeting people in Adrian.

Not to be funny dude, but don't tell me that kind of stuff...I would plan a road trip on my next available day...anything to DRIVE somewhere...especially if I have a point of destination...SWEET!!!! :biggrin:

Well I could save some money and plan a DGN recession outing at the bigger Adrian McDonalds which would probably consist of two people, lol. It couldn't be this week and would have to be on a day I get out of class that's not a field trip. o.O

We just can't call it a DGN event because we need a mod and almost all of them left for Facebook. :p

dude, i'm here every freaking day, multiple times... not my fault i'm a huge bore who has nothing interesting to say... as for the rest - yes, personally, i'm pretty goddamned disappointed, but what can you do? probably my fault anyway...

So would you be available for a hang out sometime too? I don't mind driving places...just haven't had anyplace to go. I asked when I first signed up, but I was so new, I think members thought I was joking... :biggrin:

i'm all the way out in kalamazoo - unlikely i'll be available for anything until this spring/summer, if then.

...I have to admit, be careful what you ask for...I thought about needing a wake up call and sure enough at 7:48 am I got it.

Okaasan calls yelling something about the babies (a.k.a. the birds behind the house) need to be feed by 8 o'clock or they will leave and miss out on the food because the other little ones will eat it all. The only thing I could think was that I had just closed my eyes around 5:30 am...what are you saying...babies...8 am...where are you...? Apparently not at the house. I'm like OK, OK, 8 oclock, I get it you didn't give me much time. Okaasan starts repeating, no, about 8 oclock, 8 oclock... I said yeah I know, 10 minutes from now, I need to get dressed. Okaasan was like, ...oh...8 o'clock..., laughs...

I've got to stop letting the universe in on things like that...it keeps granting the most awkward one... :dry:

Thank goodness for the next generation of little ones...they picked up the ball. Unfortunately, I happen to be the one who dropped it (even though Okaasan said there was no ball to drop), but they did good...love 'em :heart:

      What If I actually finish my Masters degree? Like what if I don't screw up? I mean I am almost half way finished. The part that scares me is the amount of money that it costs and the fact I have to do an internship the last two semesters,  I mean I have burned some bridges in the field um, lots of bridges like I'm cool with people from Jobs I've quit though but this field I been kinda medically retired and it sucks, I want to try and fix myself..my health has improved a lot but I'm still crazy as hell. My bf was impressed because when he first met me we was drinking one night and I was being a goof as I do but all of a sudden my mom's friend called me and wanted me to help her with a situation involving her son and the court system and I immediately sobered up and told her what they should expect and what they could do and my bf was like,  wow, you just snapped right into business like no problem.  I was like yea, I'm not completely crazy yet. Lol Ok ramble over. I'm killing time until this Midnite and Nyquil kick in.

      The poor lady across the hall is elderly and lives all alone. She has a cat at least one that I seen on her balcony (we had a staring contest) Anyway, the cat piss stench permeates all the way through the door into the hall and into our apartment.  It's so bad like concerningly so. She is very independent, seems very sweet but I don't think she'll allow me to help her out because one day she was trying to get up the stairs with a couple bags and I offered to help but she thanked me very gratefully and said she was OK. I don't want to say anything about the smell and my bf is nose blind and only noticed because I pointed it out.  The smell though..I hate seeing elderly people who have noone😢
