Not to clear on the "inner nerd" thingy, but I am a bit old school...currently playing Zelda a Link to the Past...

I still have never beat that game, I was on the very last level. Ironically the Zelda games I have beaten are Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, Windwaker, Minish Cap, Twilight Princess, and Skyward Sword.

About to finally get around to taking care of business...being off a prearranged schedule is too distracting and opens you up to a bit of laziness and procrastination...*raises hand* oops...guilty as charged...

Beware of "WAKE UP YOU"RE POTS ON FIRE!!!"

What always happens if I don't use two filters is the filter gets clogged and it takes forever for it to sink into the cup. So now I'm sitting around waiting. The worst that can happen is if I totally forgot about it all the water would evaporate and the grinds would start burning.

I didn't know those exist. I use a saucepan. After simmering for around 5 minutes I take it off of the heat and wait till there's barely if any steam. Then I put a rubber band around a filter on a large plastic cup, and pour it in. Its easy cleaning. When I need to reheat it I put it in a coffee cup and nuke it out of laziness.

Out of laziness I just pour more water in the perc, bring to a boil, pour in a cup and drink. I use the same grounds up to 3 days or until the blue starts forming across the top...

Eww. I can't recycle grinds. If caffeine withdrawal is looming and I will attempt to drink tea and/or scour the house for anything chocolate.

That's why I throw an extra scoop of grounds on top with each day's perc...it's just that you can only get away with it for so long...
