Sorry about my grouchy post. I was ticked after I left CC last night. Overall, I had a decent time and was happy to chat with some friends. But, the drunk guy who fell into me on the dancefloor didn't even apologize. Thankfully there were enough people around me to break my fall, so I didn't hit the ground.

I finally got to meet DJ Pleasurekatzen in person, yay!

Got to chat with numerous DGNers last night and enjoyed my time with each one of them. I won't make a big list like most people do because I know I'm going to leave somebody off. So, I'll just go over some of my personal highlights ...

Good: Arguably one of the best looking women at the club, I've had a crush on her for almost a year now but have had the worst of luck trying to do anything with her. Well, she's newly single and actually took some time away from her harem of admirers a couple times last night to seek me out and chat with me. And, we have a date lined up on Valentine's Day. Not for Valentine's Day mind you, just on Valentines Day.

Bad: She is who she is, incredibly flaky, and totally not worth my time (I think Tracy will agree). But, I'll still enjoy what I can.

Good: I saw a girl I haven't seen in 9 years and not only recognized her, but I remembered her name. When she asked how I was able to remember her after all this time I stated, "Because you're fucking hot." We didn't have much time to talk at all but I did make her give me her number.

Bad: She has a boyfriend and I hear she's a bit psycho. She does have nice boobs though.

Good: I got my flirt on with Nienna's hot friend Becca. She gives great hugs and I even got a kiss on my cheek. Awwww.

Oh, and I also brought my pipe last night and got to relax and enjoy some vanilla tobacco.

SO... YEAH. Douchebags. You guys wern't kidding. I'm glad to see business picking up there but it is the WRONG kind. Everyone I talked to who is "one of us" was pissy and offended in some way last night due to the HUGE influx of mostly male douchebag tourists. I was repeatedly rammed into, spilled on and generally annoyed when I tried to dance by wasted asshats in Nike shirts. THEN later on, one extremely drunk douche literally came up to my friend Becca and yacked all down her side. I mean literally. She was soaked. She tried to grin and bear it but we had to go home.

I got hit on by a creepy douche who kept touching me and begging me to come back to his apartment "that is only 5 minutes away" to smoke "some hard stuff and have a good time".

That said, I had a nice time talking with the few of you I ran into, and I sincerely hope this influx is temporary so that I can not only find you all easaier, but that we can enjoy ourselves there again. *sigh*

They were quite loud. Especially a couple of meat heads by the bar. This is not a sports bar; shut the fuck up. The stereotype is that goths don't like light. Well, many of us don't like loud noise either. What happened to quiet wispy wraith-like talking?

Too bad I wasn't still there. My friend Maria had a room and I'm sure I could've arranged for Becca to use her shower. These guys aren't turned off by mere bitchiness. They seem to be quite aggressive. They will follow you around the dancefoor and dance up against you.

I'll admit that I can be pretty passive. I usually just try to walk away from these guys. I don't complain to the Security staff like I should. I guess it's my own fault that I allow idiots to ruin my night at times.

And this is a big part of why I just don't go much anymore. To me it just doesn't make for a fun evening being screamed at, shoved and solicited. I'm not someone who likes to start drama or to have to run off to try to find a security guard and tattle every minute I'm not hiding behind one of my guy friends. It's not a fun Saturday night if my choices are trying to be my usual peaceful self and getting thrown around or feeling like I have to be a mega-bitch all night and stomping around all night telling people to fuck off and kneeing them in the crotch. I hesitate to say this, because I know I'll have a bunch of people getting defensive and telling me how wrong I am, but my experiences with security have mostly been that they are on you like white on rice if you're drunk, but turn a blind eye when they see douchebags (not just guys, I've seen some really obnoxious women there, too) molesting people.

Reading through these posts the last few weeks sure hasn't made me any more anxious to go back any time soon.

Security needs to step in and do their job properly to keep these idiots at bay. I've been shoved, punched, kicked and spat on (Which my fists were flying from that), mind you, this was not on the dance floor just a couple altercations with a person that would not leave me alone after going up to security and being taunted all night. And one tourist who vehemently crossed the line in my eyes..and wanted to fight me outside the club. All have been ignored until further notice. But what really grinds my gears is when the only outlet you have left is to stand up for yourself, cause I have seen girls who have done all they can to deal with harrasment and unacceptable groping to keep the leeches off them and they still couldn't take a hint.
