OK, this thread has me seriously thinking about going this year. I hope that $40. still includes the bottomless mug of beer.

!!BOTTOMLESS BEER HAS BEEN CONFIRMED!!

ooOOOooOoOoOooooPS!!!! I was supposed to be "shush" about it, but it's free beer....how can I? I don't like beer anyway, but for anyone who does, and is on the fence about going.....now you have another reason to go!!!

There's still room in the car if anyone wants to come with us!!

I'd be all for going if I somehow could get an outfit for free, a ride for free and get in for free. Being broke suuuuuuucks. :p

Don't make me dangle carrots!!!

I'm not big on beer either. But, if I'm going to be there for several hours, it's nice to have something to drink. I just have to plan on wearing a nice warm costume now.

Can someone explain what exactly TB is?? I wouldn't mind going for my first time but I already earmarked cash for the renfest this week so I can't do anything about a ticket for about 10 days.

It might be best to look at the MySpace page to get a better idea of what it's about. Basically, tons of people dress up and walk through a "haunted house" to get there. It takes place outside around bonfires. Bands play, and people drink and dance. There's usually some fetish performance on stage too. The decor is amazing. It's really a lot of fun.

I could go and be myself. Maybe that would get me an entry in being a horror actor.

What? No self-loathing allowed for handsome devils!! If you go you could wear that awesome leather jacket, and paint your face, and be the Rea..........oh, wait, LOL, is that what you meant? Duh! lol

Hope you can go! The more the merrier!

Bonfires, a haunted house, fetish performances, music, other performance art, the Bindlestiff Circus........... what a night it shall be!!! :peanutbutterjellytime:

I got my tic at Noir Leather this afternoon. Just to let everyone know, they are $45. there. There's a $5. service charge on top of the $40. for the actual ticket.

Not cheap--but, I'm expecting a good time.

Hmm...I hadn't thought about buying tickets. Then I saw the list of where they are sold and said to myself, ok, I'll have to go by Noir, but I don't fancy paying them $5 for the honor of buying my ticket there, since the buying of the ticket gets my ass in the store where I would probably buy other stuff, and that should be enough for them...greedy bastards. hahaha. So I'll have to figure out where to buy them. Is everyone taking on a service fee? Should I just cough it up? It's not so much the money that gets me as the principle of the thing...

I'm assuming that the service charge will be the same everywhere. Oh, also the tickets are "cash only." I was about to pull out my debit card and was kindly instructed to go to the nearest ATM. Just FYI.

Hmm...that's no problem, the cash thing. I just cashed a check Saturday and got too much out in cash. :)

Hmmmmmm...I am surprised about the $5 thing. Oh well. In that case I can go to Noir guilt-free. I just didn't want to pay it there if I wouldn't at, say, Showtime. Since technically Showtime is closer to me too...but I've never been there, and I quite like Noir. HMM now I have to make a trip out to Royal Oak..
