We're doing a celebration of all things Latin on Monday for Cinco De Mayo. Fucking unbelievable drink specials and great music all night. A special Spanish industrial set at midnight. We've got some big things for June. Look for some major announcements in the next few weeks.

(Ahhhhhh, fond memories of when it used to be The Nectarine and Goth/Industrial night was in the basement on Boys NIght Out......hahahahhaha, that was a looooooooooooong time ago!)

Well if you can only come to one. Come on out to our night. I know you had a blast and with your new friends you met and everyone else thats packs the club every week. You know you'll have fun. Plus you can pay admission and get a Large Long Island for cheeper than the admission to City. Hop eto see you Monday.

I think I'll try to go, but there's no question DGN night comes first if i have to choose between the two (and i might) as health issues might not allow for going to both, especially with recent issues I've been having.

Interesting how it falls on the 5th like that, and the 5th is a Monday. Must be the fates.

The Main problem for most people (that aren't college students, and have regular jobs) is the weekday issue, which i always was told when i used to basically live at the neck and tried to get people to go with me. When i wasn't working that is, when i was at a regular 9 to 5 i also was in the "ugh weekday" camp.

I've personally been pushing Necto/Nectarine for years, for free, directly and indirectly, virtually every week in one form or another; online, radio and even local access TV at times going on 10+ years. (Without any reciprocal promotion, nor did i expect any.) Hell i used to even push the Rocky shows for jinx and gang back in the ANCIENT times. Kinda smacks me on a personal level to have that same club push people to not come to "our" regular gathering. Maybe I'm being irrational. Had a lot of negative stuff hit me in the last few weeks and may be misinterpreting things.

I am not trying to get anyone to skip dgn night. As I am there on Saturday pretty much every week hanging out with all of of you. I was mainly trying to encourage a friend to come out on Monday. I was in no way trying to make people skip our normal outing's just offer an incentive to come out and see me on Monday.

Jinx, he didn't mean it that way, I think he was upset that I may have eluded to the fact that I may trade off his Saturday for your Monday.. probably because I told him that I had so much fun there the other day.

I think the music was really good the other night... Of course, most times at CC I'm way too drunk to care what they're playing, and at the Nec, I was in that .. perfect drunk/happy state.

Thank you for looking out for me, I really do appreciate you making me feel at home, when I didn't know anyone there but you... I had my anonymity back, and I liked that..I believe that's what I've missing lately, just a reason to just sit back and let my hair down, and not wonder how it effects others you know, because you just don't KNOW anyone.

It's good to have your Cheers (CC), but it's also good sometimes just to mix in with the crowd, and be a nobody.

I've never been to Necto before. I think I might try to make it. Ultimately, it will depend on how grueling of a 12 hour shift I have at work Monday. But, since I don't have to work Tuesday, I can't imagine it being that bad that, and if it was, then I would really need to get out for some drinks. Now, I wonder if that shower in the women's locker room works and if I can use it. If I leave straight from work, I cut my driving distance almost in half.

Been to Necto once and had a great time, but I'm going where my friends are and that would be DGN night at CC. I really like the layout of Necto, but the dance floor is a tad small, and they don't stay open as late. Will definitely go again when I'm not so wiped out. Staying up for a full 24 hours has taken it's toll!

Never been to necto before but the wife and I will likely go tonight cuz we dont have our kids tonight and we get off work at930 in ann arbor so we're practically right here cya'll there...
