For those of you into latex/rubber/PVC, a friend of mine in DC does some pretty good work. His name is Slyx, and has been found to do some of the better work on the eastern side of the country. He also does vacuum beds and now vacuum cubes. Good stuff, and good guy.

The concept here is SO cool...but the execution seems a bit off to me. :( It just...doesn't work.

A shame because much of Atsuko Kudo's stuff is quite fab.

All these pictures make me wish I could wear latex..but it is for the good of the world that I do not. I would love to learn to work with it though...some of these would probably be really fun to make. :D

I think there was a thread on multicoloured hair...but, if I remember right, it was more of a how-to type of thing. I'll see if I can find it.

UPDATE: there are several hair colouring threads, but it looks like they're all how-tos. doesn't look like a multicoloured hair appreciation thread has been done yet.

Do not buy rubba-wear or any other cheap imitations. They may be cheap, but will last you one wear. I once bought a pair of rubbawear's latex stockings when I was like 15 and they ripped the first time I put one on. There's a bunch of other cheap one's out there as well.

Its an investment. but its soooo worth it!

I hardly think that matters. We love all things plastic/rubber around here. Besides, it LOOKS like it COULD be, so its alright if one posts it here, even if the title doesn't say "Latex, Rubber and Vinyl Oh My!"
