Don't think I haven't noticed that. It is pissing the living fuck out of me (in case you haven't noticed the exponential increase in my use of foul language...)

Absolutely the ONLY THING that could keep me from going is my health. I doubt I'm contagious or anything like that. But I have horrific allergies/sensitivity to cigarette smoke, and going to CC when I'm NOT suffering a nasal/sinus problem can have me a mess.

Here's the problem. See, I have these massively cavernous sinuses. When dentists take full-facial Panorex x-rays, it always turns into some sort of fucked-up "Ripley's Believe it or Not" freakshow with all the office staff being told, "come check this out." Great for going into headvoice when singing in choir. But BAD for a cold. I stuff up, and it takes forever to drain. Meanwhile, I alternate between being blocked up and unable to breathe, to enough drainage to go through at least 3 boxes of Puffs Plus tissues per occurrence (bought box #3 today).

It's a fucking nightmare. The only saving grace I have - and it's a big one - is that I don't have to work a job outside of the house and I can rest a lot, sleep a lot, and take it easy.

Problem with this time, it happened while a LOT of other shit was going down, and I haven't been nursing it like I really, really need to. So it's lingering. And it's now going on a week and a half. And it really hasn't gotten any better, which is both worrisome and MASSIVELY ANNOYING.

So, enough about me. Whine whine mutherfucking whine.

I'm 90% sure we're NOT going now.

I have relapsed to the point where I'm almost as bad as day 1.

And money has gotten a touch tight due to having to refill a $88 prescription that went by the wayside. Not the main reason to miss such an important event, but compounded with a couple financial issues, wardrobe issues, and the main health issue, I think we just really need to deal with the disappointment and figure out a way to celebrate at home this year.

Sucks.

Just talked to a buddy who works closely with the National Weather Service. the official estimate at this time is 5-12 inches by noon tomorrow. Wont start till later on though, like 10ish. larger accumulations south of 94.
