I want one. Actually I'm surprised they were able to keep the price at $100,000 for the first one. I wish it had a little more range, but since this is the very first one I bet the range will improve with time and the price will come down.

I wonder if it's quiet. I'd love to see one in action.

Yeah usually electric cars are noted for being quiet. They usually have a "whine" sound but its lower than a typcial combustion engine.

I like how the guy in that interview is basicly saying "no really we can make a decent electric car... like soon.. not 10 years from now" (to paraphrase)

If they could come up with one that could drive for say 5 hours without needing to be recharged and i didnt look like a freakin bumper car and was sub 30k i dont see why people wouldnt buy one.

I havent done my homework on how much it costs to recharge one in terms of the electric bill but if its compareable to gas prices... what the hell why not.
