  1. Actually, I updated the GC when I logged in yesterday. Moved out here soon to be 2 years now. So Yeah it's correct. Saw the gathering event listing. Probably won't make this weeks, but I might be able to make it a regular thing...
  2. Second Life (DJ'ing), Stormfall: Age of War, EZPZ RPG, League of Angels Fire Raiders, Heros Charge, One Finger Death Punch (steam), Elder Scrolls Online, and any number of installed steam games... Oh and DOA on PS3/Vita
  3. Oh its been years since I was last on here, and probably a little longer since I last was at City Club. But anything is possible. I also was using the image on facebook for a while as well..
  4. As if Japan didn't have enough problems with Godzilla trying to destroy all their reactors.
  5. The Atacama desert region, a vast expanse of land stretching 600 miles along the Pacific coast of South America from Peru to Chile, is known as the driest region on earth, receiving only .04 inches (1mm) of rain per year. Many weather stations located in the region have no recorded precipitation during their existence. Nearly sterile from the lack of rainfall, sparsely inhabited, and virtually free from electromagnetic interference, the desert hosts several major astronomical observatories. This other-worldly location is also popular among sci-fi film makers, and is a prominent test site for NASA's planned Mars mission. This week, the Atacama received 32 inches of snow, stranding motorists along the Pan-American highway and other roads, prompting numerous rescues. Footage of the snow is available on the BBC. Will be interesting to see what (if anything) appears out of the ground with that much melting snow in a place that precipitation is nearly non-existent. Perhaps frogs similar to the Main's Frog will appear.
  6. NASA has released footage captured by the Solar Dynamics Observatory (SDO) showing a comet grazing the sun. I suggest the first link for the video as it makes it easier to see as it streaks across the sun to oblivion.
  7. The BBC is reporting that surgeons in Sweden have transplanted a synthetic windpipe into a patient. The synthetic windpipe was grown from a scaffolding and coated with the patients own stem cells. The scaffolding was made using 3D images of the patient's own windpipe. The new windpipe was made by scientists in London.
  8. Major U.S. Internet providers — including AT&T, Verizon, Comcast, Cablevision, and Time Warner Cable — have just signed on to a voluntary agreement with the movie and music businesses to crack down on online copyright infringers. But they will protect subscriber privacy and they won't filter or monitor their own networks for infringement. And after the sixth 'strike,' you won't necessarily be 'out.'
  9. What type of Horror movie are you? My Results: The Downright Disturbing Movie You are the Downright Disturbing movie. The whole point of your being is to shock and mortify the audience. This means you have to have plenty of gruesome imagery as well as a morbid plot line. You are so shocking, and sometimes gross, that you are not allowed to be shown in theaters and come straight to video. You truly warp the minds of your viewers and some people just cannot resist that. Your scenes contain mutilated haunts, strewn body parts, and often gore that would sicken the most avid horror goer. But sometimes, you are not gory at all, and simply have the wrong body part sticking out of the wrong place. Some Downright Disturbing movies would be: Teeth, Eraserhead, Jacob's Ladder
  10. I tend to cat nap, have always been like that. Sleep here and there.
  11. You Scored as Hedonism Your life is guided by the principles of Hedonism: You believe that pleasure is a great, or the greatest, good; and you try to enjoy life’s pleasures as much as you can. “Eat, drink, and be merry, for tomorrow we die!” Hedonism 75% Utilitarianism 65% Apathy 65% Kantianism 65% Existentialism 60% Justice (Fairness) 60% Strong Egoism 50% Divine Command 35% Nihilism 25%
  12. Maybe they could set up the Lemarchand box as the switch to enable/disable the alarm system. Failure to disable correctly brings out a Phantasm sphere from the dashboard. Subsequent failures to disable pop out the barbs and cause it to hum like it did in the movie.
  13. I used to play and was working on a module as well, but never did complete it. Kind of curious if the break in will have any negative effect on the currently being worked on NeverWinter.
  14. Its possible, that process does work when trying to fix CMS's so i don't see why it wouldn't work for you to fix a notification issues.
  15. A supernova has to be no farther than about 25 light years away to be able to fry us with light or anything else, and Betelgeuse is 25 times that distance (which means its power to hurt us is weakened by over 600x). It’s also the wrong kind of star to explode as a gamma-ray burst, so I wouldn't worry about that.
  16. The folks at EA/BioWare sent out an email yesterday outlining that their older Neverwinter Nights forums had been hacked, with a fair amount of user information stolen from the database — the likes of user names, encrypted passwords, email addresses, mailing addresses, names, phone numbers, CD keys and birth dates. They do go on to say that 'no credit card data was compromised from the servers, nor did we ever have or store sensitive data like social security numbers.' There's no pointing of fingers as to who might have done the compromising, though."
