  1. Oblivion was not planning on performing at the Ritz at all Thursday night until last week when Pain Tribe asked to see one of our scenes. So we threw in an extra rehearsal and made some modifications to have our "Temptation" scene ready. With Pain Tribe not coming, I didn't want to spoil the surprise of "Temptation" since we're premiering it next Thursday at The Ritz and performing it again next Saturday at The Works. But we couldn't have a dead night with no entertainment at all. So Oblivion had a cram session to see what props we had on hand, what performers were available, and who could do what. In less than 10 minutes we had 6 scenes for a full evening of entertainment. So, for a show we almost literally pulled out of our asses, I am very proud of a very professional job and of a higher caliber than some fully rehearsed shows I've seen from other troupes. Like Ice Queen said, we perform with some truly talented and awesome performers who continue to impress me each day. Note to self: Keep whips and straight jacket in truck at all times, just in case.
  2. Hells Yeah! I haven't been climbing in years. Need to get back.

  3. You still look like that. Just more colorful.
  4. Another one of my pet peeves is if I can't tell what the topic is going to be about from reading the title, I won't read it. And example would be: Title - "Do people" Subtitle - "have ..." Have what? What is this topic about? I'm not going to waste my time trying to find out. Skip to the next.
  5. I was actually at The Works on a Wednesday night. I know, no way! And I had a thoroughly enjoyable time. I hung out with Ivy Cat, Mantindome, and of course the lovely Taysteewonderbunny most of the night. Good talking music with Scary Guy and fill in DJ Jay. Said hi to PleasureKatzen but didn't have much time to chat. I too left early as I was Calix's ride, plus I also had to get up early for work this morning but not nearly as early as she.
  6. I do my kettlebell routine with music. It just makes me feel more energized. The hard part is when a song comes on that I try to sing along with. Then I get really winded.
  7. Yeah, I'll catch you up all right. That is, yes, it's been a while and I haz newz.
  8. She rocked my harley once ... it was great. Except it wasn't a harley, and there was no rockin' involved.
  9. I have a kettlebell that I try to use weekly. I really need to step it up to at least 3/week. I have a DVD with a routine on it I like so I generally just go through that. My primary interest is general health, though I am trying to increase my strength a bit, endurance a lot, and I like the way my pecs have become more defined.
  10. It's too noisy in purgatory to chat really. It's pretty good where it is now, but can get crowded near the bar at times. I like where it sometimes migrates to further down the line - that last corner right before you get to purgatory.
  11. Last night was actually the first night I noticed any douchebags. There seemed to be two groups: one sitting on couches near the DGN corner, and the other in the far corner of purgatory stupid dancing. It was a low key night but very enjoyable. Saw a fairly high number of DGNers plus some non-DGN friends. A shit ton of Oblivion people out and about. Met Torn Asunder for the first time. Good to see Troy again. Helena's head piece matched the trim of her skirt, which matched her socks, which amazingly matched her shoes. And yes, Chelsea is smiley and adorable. What else? I think I'll cuddle on the couch and post later if I think of anything.
  12. I thought as soon as Obama was elected he was going to withdraw all troops from the middle east, not send more.

Did anyone else find that phrase funny?
  15. Nah, I bet it's The Booger, a movie about snot.
  16. The Boo? A ghost movie. The Boobs? A porno. The Boo Radleys? A sequel to To Kill A Mockingbird. The Boonsfarm? A movie about cheap bad wine. The Boondoggle? A high budget, low value movie. Am I at least close?
