No, I was going to use my digital camera with a long lens but got busy working around the house and forgot to go out and try to film it.

Had me worried. Title is last gathering. Would sound better if it said last gathering for November. You made it sound more like there would be no more gatherings at all.

Watching Godzilla vs Spacegodzilla

Usually something that bright would be a planet. But what I saw was twinkling, stars twinkle but planets don't. However since asteroids usually have a rotation, that could explain the odd way it twinkles. Plus the asteroid, when it passed, was closer to us than the moon by about 30,000 miles. Going to see if it's visible tonight and maybe video it.

I just checked on Space.com. Can't find anything about the comet I had read about which is strange because I remember seeing the article. They even said do to the brightness of the moon, you would need to spot it with binoculars because it isn't very bright. Anyway, I did find an article about an asteroid that did a flyby on Nov 8th. So maybe what I am seeing is the asteroid since it's path is moving away from the sun. It could still be close enough to reflect sunlight and would explain the weird twinkling it is doing.

Last night coming home from the Gathering as I came into the apartment complex I noticed 2 stars in the eastern sky. However the one more south, the brighter one didn't look right. It didn't flicker like a normal star. It seemed too big to be a normal star. I know that according to Space.com there is a comet passing us but they stated you would need binoculars to see it due to it's dimness. Yet this mystery star seemed to flicker in a way that made me think it's the comet, brighter than expected. My roommate noticed it looking out our kitchen window. Did anyone else notice this? Anyone have a theory?

What little family I have has scattered to the winds. I never knew my dad. I was raised by my mom and grandmother. The few cousins I interacted with as a kid have moved on and never kept contact. My mom had some cousins that when she died, helped me get her ashes from the funeral parlor but haven't heard from them since. That was in 06. Only family I have, that I consider family is 2 friends and their families. When I lost my house, they stepped up and helped me with a place to stay. They never made me feel bad over my situation. Now I have my DGN family to include.

They also did it for kids going to school. The idea was better chance of some daylight when the kids are heading to school in the morning. I know there has been talk of eliminating it. Hopefully they will do that.

Wasn't sure I was going to make it this week but now I must. She tasks me. She tasks me and I shall have her! If I had known just how foggy it was earlier, I would have gone to the park and try for a night shot of the bridge and fog. Would have been interesting if it worked out.

If you have a friend who has a cat. Try to set up a play date for them. Get your cat used to another cat in the house. If adjustment goes well, then you can decide if getting another cat would work.

You are very pretty. And even though you are not a thing but are a person, saying take pictures of pretty things one could expand on that accepting that thing is a general use word having many meanings. One then could say things means people, items and such so you would qualify. And ghost hunting is better when you have someone with you to confirm or not if something is seen.
