Not wanting to be home, but with nowhere to go ... with a daughter who is NOT happy at all to be leaving tomorrow.

An airplane ticket to New York City on New Year's Eve, rental car reservations, hotel reservations and an airplane ticket back for me and my daughter. A trip I REALLY don't want to take, but I have to. What have you got?

Just got through vaccuming the girls room -- THEY FINALLY CLEANED IT!!! (The boys haven't). And just got off the phone with my Mom. My brother's youngest is only 8 weeks old, they just rushed her to the hospital today with breathing difficulties and it looks like there's a blockage in her throat.

Trying to think of what I could possible say to make her feel better -- but knowing there probably isn't anything I could.

Want to borrow mine? He is trying to tell me trees do not belong in the house. Unfortuately, peeing ont he tree isn't going to help the situation.

We had a rather nice wedding ... nothing big. We did it here at home. With a bunch of friends and family.

I see. That's icky ... but worth it. Paying out of pocket sucks, that's all I've ever been able to do. That's why it took me 10 years to get back to college. I know what you mean about the last part, BTW.

OMG, That was an amusing 10 minutes of my life.

Ah. Okay, I didn't know how it worked, but I *thought* they did. From my years of ROTC, I know the military is really big on giving money for education. That sucks though you got to pay up front. But it's better than nothing. I wouldn't have had to wait 10 years to get into school again if I could have gotten something like that.

Doesn't the Army give you money for that?

I'll go to work for BOTH of you, in exchange ... my 8 year old.

Listening to my kids play with the camcorder on my daughter's new phone (my old one) ... oh, the novelty. I can't wait until the newness wears off.

Looking at the ice accumulating on the trees outside the window, thinking twice about pushing my 5 year old to get ready for school (he's refusing) .... and the freezing rain is still coming down with no sign of stopping yet ...

Yeah, but it's back now. The ice is coming down pretty quick here, so it's not surprising.

Sitting on the couch with a Chihuahua sleeping in my lap, listening to the sleet/freezing rain hit the back windows (ick), looking at a blank tv because the cable just went out.

Finishing my conversation, then driving forever again today.
