Mine gets about 32 miles a gallon. That's about average for a newer small car. It's the people driving vans, trucks and SUV's that not only have the much bigger tanks but the really low gas mileage too .... they are paying anywhere between 2 - 3 times more than the average small car owner for gas these days. I would not want to be an SUV/truck/van dealer these days.

Me too. I'm fine on a boat, or looking ... but not IN. A clorinated pool, however, doesn't bother me at all. I can do that easily.

Same analogy, different object. The gas prices suck but I still need gas every 2 - 3 days so I'll just keep paying it. Just like my cell bill. We pay Sprint every month but we need it (court ordered - long story) so we pay it.

It really bothers me you classify me as "uncool" and "lazy" because I need my car and use it very often ..... I know you don't mean it that way ... but it still bothers me. I would literally lose everything if I did not have my car. Some people can live without a cell phone, others can't ... that doesn't mean one is "lazy" or "un-lazy".

I want to not have to have surgery next month ... and I want my youngest daughter to not have to have surgery this month ... and I want my oldest daughter to have an enjoyable birthday on Wednesday.

In high school there was pretty much nothing else to do ... they banned everything else or expelled you for everything. So it was drill practice or MTG at lunch. We had drill before and after school too, so you can imagine which I picked. I just found a bunch of MTG cards in one of my boxes in the garage when we cleaned it out and gave them to my oldest daughter. My ex is still really into D&D ... I could never understand it myself.

Wishing home wasn't such a warzone at the moment. .... and hoping I can get to the store and back before the rain starts .... but my kids are NOT cooperating.

Thinking about putting up my gazebo/screen room thingy. If I stake it down until I get the deck built and take the fabric off during the storms, it's pretty sturdy metal, it should be fine. Also looking up to see if there's reservations for my favorite Cedar Point resort for a certain weekend not to far away that I haven't given up ALL hope on yet --- which there is! Oh, and I have to go buy another bolt from Home Depot for my other yard swing that I haven't put up yet ... because I stole a bolt from it to fix the one that broke last year.

Trying to get my boys dressed to go return the rental car for my own *cries* ... and thinking about what to cook for dinner and if I need anything to accomplish that.

To give in ........ but if I do, I'll never make my point clear enough that it never should have gotten to this point (again) to begin with. Plus, we could use it somewhere else right now.

Reading all about tone in business writing everywhere other than my textbook before I do my written assignment. Thinking about if there's anything quick enough to do for dinner since I am literally busy all day when I walk out this door in a few minutes. Thinking about taking my dogs out first. Thinking about lunch because I've wasted a lot of time looking up stuff for my homework.

My dogs do. All three of them. Especially the big one. The oldest Chihuahua will get territorial and push the other two away from it growling as if to claim it as his own. They also do that with a MagLite.

Shopping the Apple Store for a MacBook Pro. Yay educational discounts! (I'm upgrading my machine for school and Phee is getting this one for music. Won't be for a few weeks yet but I need to figure out which one I want.)
