Thrift stores are my preferred places to shop, however I try and avoid Sally Anne due to their homophobic policies. I really appreciate it. Ty Books are always welcome. I need some cookware, for sure. I could use a small pot or two. Some decor for my walls would be nice. I managed to save my Siouxsie poster and one small framed picture. Bland walls get depressing. I am used to being on the other end of this, being the one helping people. I had been avoiding asking people for help for a long time, but eventually I just could not get anywhere without it.

I have wanted to do trip hop but haven't fiddled with it much yet.

The loss of a human life, the emotional suffering of others ; these should always impact us. You can gain the emotional fortitude to maintain rationality if need, but it should still impact you deeply. I am affected by the suffering of people I've never met or even seen. Strangers in other countries. The suffering in this world is overwhelming, and a lot of it just by living in North America I indirectly reap the rewards for. That means I am somewhat culpable, which is why I do my part to speak out and inform people about what is going on in the world. And in your way you do as well, that is why you are in the career you are in. Which i think is one of the biggest connections between us. This deep down value for all of humanity. The need to be there for them. A sense of guilt for their suffering on at least some level. How can we do more? We are connected even to a stranger we meet in the ER who is breathing his last breath, and definitely to the grieving family who is losing them. As much as you struggle some day, keep this in mind ; the world would be an infinitely better place for each other person in it that were like you. Who cared as you did. Sometimes the hate people heap at each other is overwhelming; but while all the deceit and suffering people wrought on each other can seem to reduce society, meeting one truly altruistic and kind person can profoundly change people's lives.

I have spacious ears

(Editing to update ; I still am in need of a lot of things, welfare + massive social anxiety are huge barriers for me acquiring things I need. Though my primary need at the moment is a microwave.) After my recent stint with homelessness, my belongings have been reduced to pretty much nil. I have rectified my housing situation, however my apartment literally has no furniture. I am lacking a lot of basic items (I made it through the month using a knife to cut canned foods open, as an example.) My clothing and most of my belongings I had left were stolen by my previous roommate and his girlfriend when they moved out. Some friends have donated some clothing in the meantime, but I am still short of a lot of things and none of it is appropriate for job searching. I also have need of some basic food items. It is going to be a while before I can afford to be stocked up on most items I would normally have stored in advance (dry items, canned items, I have no spices for cooking, etc.) That is made extra difficult due to food allergies (gluten/wheat/flour, aspartame, cochineal/red dyes, minor lactose issues.) If anyone has anything they are able to donate at all, it would be greatly appreciated. I am in Windsor, so for many members getting things to me may be difficult. Appreciated in advance. TY

Though it is correct ; Ethics mean a great deal to me. The only part of that that doesn't fit me is the idea that I would rather be safe than sorry. I actually take plenty of risks, I just am very calculated about them. Though it is hard to really put much stock into a five question online test. These archetypes have been boiled down to the point of vagueness and generality in the way horoscopes tend to. IE; more often than not, it would fit pretty much anyone, or at least they would hear it and feel it does.

...I've got a knack, for making things better! Finally solved my homelessness issue, and have stable internet again. So I have returned.

I think Obama meant well coming into office, and he has done a lot if good. The majority of the bad choices he has made came after the Tea Party won so much of Congress and started fillabusting everything. The problem isn't Obama, it is a system that is completely out of his favor or the favor of public interest at all. In order to put through one useful policy you have to give up on ten others, vote for five you hte, and let someone tack something awful on to the one that does get through. It is a neo-con world right now. I personally am in favor of mass voting boycott, no matter who winds up in office the government simply cannot ct in a legitimately representative way anymore. Best case scenario is you get someone who slows things down. We are in a situation where the Right is a clear wrong choice, the Left is a bandaid that is way too small, and Independents are not going to be able to do anything either.
