Well, in the last 24 hours I've lost my boyfriend and my job... So right now I'm kind of staring at the computer screen in disbelief.

Sorry, hun! I'm in the same boat as far as my birthday goes this year. I'm kinda just trying to ignore the holidays until they are over at this point.

Calling government phone numbers is such a waste of time and phone minutes. First you get transfered, then the person you're transfered to gives you the number of a different organization to call, then when you call that number you go through the same process, and so it goes until an hour later you're goven the same phone number that you originally started with. No wonder our ecomony sucks if we're paying for countless phone operators who don't know how to do anything but pass the buck. Plus I can barely understand half of them between accents and bad English.

Looking up real estate. Wishing my sinuses would stop hurting.

I'll most likely be spending my birthday home, alone, drinking, watching Dick Clark and crying.

Re: bed bugs Don't sit on anything like a bed, couch, cushioned chair, anything bugs can crawl into and nest, be careful around carpet, too. Believe me, they don't just stay in the bedroom. Also, be careful about putting your bag or purse on the floor or the furniture. One can jump onto your bag and you'll bring it home with you. They are a bitch to get rid of. We ended up having to move and get rid of about 1/3 of our stuff.

My outfit right now is boring, so I'm posting what I wore to City last night, for anyone who missed it. Red lace cami, black satin waist-cincer, red lace boy shorts, black garter belt, black translucent petticoat, black fishnet thigh-highs, black stripper shoes, bright red hair extensions, lots of purple and red eye make up and face glitter.

Veggin' at home, and happy about it. Too wiped out from Ren Faire to go out tonight.

If you're going to dress differently than the majority, you're going to get a lot of attention. Some of that will be negative attention, it comes with the territory. If you can't handle the attention, then I guess you need to conform. Personally my day to day style is not that goth most of the time. When I do go all out, I'm fully aware that I'm going to be stared at, and might even draw comments.

Once school starts again I might actually be able to go out on a couple Wednesdays, since I am taking off work for classes on Thursday. Any other weeknight, forget it, I can barely even stay up past 11.

Little black dress, black sandals, metalic green eye make-up. Plus my hair looks awsome; I got it trimmed today and they made it super straight and shiny, like supermodel hair. Getting ready to go out to dinner for my 18 month anniversary.

Personally, I'd rather my boyfriend told me something didn't look good on me, was too tight, etc. before I left the house. It wouldn't necessarily stop me from wearing something if I really liked it, but I'd take it into consideration.

Wow, I must be pretty cynical, I have a much easier time coming up with deal breakers that key traits I'd actually want in a partner. I guess someone who is going to give as much to a relationship as I do, which is a lot, and someone who is going to fight for me. Not literally pick a fight over me, but fight to be with me, even when things rough. Also, I'd expect him to stand up for me if his friends or family are saying mean things about me, as I'd do that for him. Beyond that, honesty, caring, mutual respect, blah, blah, blah. Everyone needs those in a relationship. I've never met anyone who said "Boy, I hope my next girlfriend lies to me, that's such a turn on."

Damn you people and your cute kitty pics! My mom has my cat until this whole pest control issue is sorted out, and you all are making me miss her like crazy.

Yeah, they've been biting the hell out of me for almost a month now and my doctor kept telling me it was an allergy and treating me for that. They only come out at night, so you don't see them unless you flip the matress up to clean like I did a couple days ago. Finishing my last load of laundry, then going on my neighbor's boat.

Brown, lacy babydoll tank top, taupe linen dress pants, brown sandals. Not very goth, but I sort of like it, and it's really good for the hot weather.

Washing everything piece of clothing and bedding I own. F-ing bed bugs!
