Hi everyone. I know that it is very short notice and not exactly goth-centric, but I am really excited about this fundraiser and we are trying to get as many people in the door as possible! Every year, Mystiques West (a psychic reading center) adopts a needy family for the holidays, and this Friday, we are holding a fundraiser to help this family out during this trying season. Here are the details. What: Ten minute psychic readings for ten dollars, proceeds to benefit our needy family. We will also be raffling off baskets filled with candles, incense, crystals, and the work of some local artists. When: Friday, December 11th from 7 to 9pm (though we would be happy to stay later due to so many people coming!) Where: Mystiques West Psychic Reading Center in Westland. hi all. i have decided this year to put some effort into really enjoying the holidays, which means making it my own, black christmas tree and all. my question is this...do any of you know where i can find some black wrapping paper? or even black and white? i am so not the santas and reindeer paper type....can ya help a girl out? thanks!

Terry Goodkind's "Phantom" So glad he stopped writing at a third grade level. No more listening to your editor, Terry! lol. Each (admittedly ginormous) book has plenty of everything i love in a yummy book; blood, action, romance, intrigue, magic and sexy people who actually have a brain behind those pretty eyes, and strong women! yaay! oo! and cool fight scenes!

did anyone else have trouble following the action? There's no denying the the scenes were georgeous, but i couldn't tell who got killed, etc. Other than that, lot's o' fun. "I'm under enemy...scrotum!"

thanks, i will look that up. hopefully it will hold up. as it is now, my lover just kisses the lipstick right off as soon as i get it on....and then we both wind up walking around looking like we've got the plague....and so not in a good way! lol.

that's a good idea...i suppose eating eyeliner is no more dangerous than the several pounds of lipstick a person inadvertently swallows in a life time lol. i tried this product from Sally's beauty supply that is supposed to make the stuff smudge-proof for six hours, but it burns like mad! anyway, thanks for the tip!

ok i know it's cliche and whatnot but my sweetie LOVES it when i wear black lipstick. (and i enjoy it myself from time to time) but the stuff comes off so easily. one strong breeze and instead of a nice rich black i look like i have a terrible case of lip mold.... My kingdom (err, queendom?) for a black lipstick that i don't have to reapply every ten minutes! any suggestions?
