He was! I gave him a hug and tried to drag him on stage, but they actually had him chained to the vending machine and I was too wasted at the time to lift that damned thing. Poor, poor Gimp. Next time I'll bring a metal file or a hack saw--but where to hide it for the pat down? As mentioned, I held a 50/50 raffle to benefit DGN. Altogether, I sold 40 tickets at $1. The winning ticket number, drawn at 2:21 am, was 804010 belonging to Raev who generously and honorably donated his winnings to DGN. Yay! $40 for DGN! Thanks to all who purchased tickets, especially to the big buyers of the night, Nightgaunt and Tszura; your generosity is much appreciated! I had a very good time. I think the weekend after Halloween is a fitting date for a DGN Appreciation Night. Hopefully, we can have future events of this kind, each one bigger and better than the last. I have ideas. So does the_eternal who was disappointed that the toy in the party favor bags weren't vibrating bullets. Next year, my dear, when I am better funded, I will rectify that; each bag will have a bullet, a DGN bumper sticker, a decoder ring, and some eyeliner. How's about that? There were so many DGNers present, it might be shorter for me to name the ones I know that WEREN'T there than name all the ones that were, but I will come back after a shower and a nap and begin my list and say my thank you's. Um, yeah, it is. You misappropriated a pronoun. The "you" that appeared in the post to which you responded referred to me, not Spook, as you inferred that it did. CalicoKitty could not logically have remembered meeting someone she didn't meet. (But, once she does meet him, I am sure she will concur with your assessment, for he is indeed bald and beautiful.) So there.

Yes. Either she or Marlene were on my lap for a good part of the evening. And when they weren't warming my lap, Gothkytten was. And when not even she could have my lap, it was because there was no lap to be had and we were dancing with Spook and beanwater. Yays! (And you just kept walking by all night.)

You mean I can't bring my sherried sweet potatoes? They don't have any of that icky marshmallow stuff on them. Just sherry, but with the alcohol cooked out, so it yields a delicious flavor without giving you an unwanted buzz. No? Your loss. I CAN make my famous French Silk Chocolate pie, though, with the homemade crust. Want? Yes? Should I also bring corn pudding? It's not Thanksgiving without corn pudding. Better 'n sweet corn, it's a kind of souffle made with corn. Yup. And someone should make greens. Southern style greens with bacon. Who is making greens? Turnip greens or collard greens or mustard greens or kale, I don't care which. I don't have a reliable recipe. Does anyone else but me like greens? My family is having Thanksgiving on Friday, so I think I'm free Thursday, except that I plan on going to City if they are open Wednesday night and doing the Meals on Wheels thing Thursday during the day. Spook, can we go, PLEASE?

We missed you so much! Several times, Spook and I commented on your absence. Do not disappoint us again, missy! You and your hubby belong at City, tbs! So many DGNers in different dress threw me off that night. I walked right by Gimp and Skyfire (you weren't sleeveless--how was I to know?). I think I may have spotted Riku, and I know I saw Fin briefly, but Helena, you eluded me. I had the honor of meeting AstralCrux and her friend for the first time. Saw eleven, Eevee, StormKnight, Dusty. Met Dusty's roommate Kathryn (sp?). Saw, but didn't know how to approach/engage in convo Worms in Wombs. Cuddled Tits McGee--it was good to see you and Charlie. And, goodness, MinaRose, it's always good to see you! Nice to meet Marlene, too. Saw XillaToxic selling shots. Got to hang and dance with beanwater, one of my most favorite people! Ha! I get to see you twice next weekend! Said my hellos to Darque Metallion and hugged Enishi and Tanuki. Met CalicoKitty--welcome to DGN! Marc gave me a lollipop. Thanks. My dentist loves you.
