paradox
Was it weird explaining this to your kids? About how you're going to go hang out with a bunch of strangers and their kids who you know over the internet? I bet your kids thought you were all going to go join a cult somewhere <{POST_SNAPBACK}> nope. :grin as has been said, i said 'hey, wanna go play with some kids at party?' im sure you can guess the answer to that... ah, to be young again. :grin mckinley is very outgoing. Lilith
YEha i told my younger ones we were going to a friends for a party and they would make new friends and they should get there bathing suits on, once i said bathing suits they were gone, my 10 year old was like who and wanted to know all the ins and outs, so i told him ya know the board i allways write in on the computer, it is a party for them so those o us with kids can meet other people o nthe board. He asked if they were goths and i said yes and he asked to paint his nails...... I too thought about how to explain this outing at first, the same way Dan mentioned ,but once i started to speak the little ones did not care and my oldest well why Lie, so i told him the truth, Kids need to learn it is okay to be around people you dont know and try to make new friends or connections. They will deal with stuff like this all there life in bussiness or social situations. A good rule of thumb with kids is if they are old enough to ask the question then they are old enough to get an honest answer, if you dont tell em some one else will and then you have no control over if they are getting hte right info. lilith
