Please excuse my ignorance, but I am a bit confused about what else you need to know so I will give my best answer.

The Gathering is where you go to the restaurant or diner, eat food and meet other DGN members or "DGNers".  It's stated as "NOT particularly kid friendly" because the majority of us are over the age of 18 and a lot of grownup topics are discussed.  However, members have been known to bring their kids a time or two.

 

Troy Spiral is the Founder of DGN and The Host of The Gathering and will usually be in attendance.

 

The Gathering has been held just about every week since March 3, 2016.  If you do a search for it on the main forum page, you will be able to see past Gatherings.
