How Are You Feeling? (cont'd)

Feels like I overdid it with the first yardwork of the year and then everything that could go wrong (out of the things I was already handling) did.  And on top of everything, I have a headache that just won't quite.  Been a little over 3 hours now.

Ohh that doesn't sound good.  Put pressure  like press between your two fingers between your thumb and pointer finger like that little tendon or thingy there, that helps me sometimes.  Little acupressure.

(I like inflicting pain on myself for the greater good.)

Yes, I do finger acupuncture as well.  However, I do not know all of the pressure locations as of yet and yes, that did the trick.  I was able to feel how strained the blood vessel was there and applied pressure to a corresponding bone in my elbow.

Thank you soo much for that...you know...inflicting pain on yourself, for the greater good.

Oh yay! I'm glad it worked. I used to get them headaches in florescent light after the car accident I had. I was in like office max faxing paperwork with sunglasses on,  my head bowed and doing my acupressure thing and I seen the cashier looking at me and I'm like,  "I'm sorry these lights,  I'm just doing a little acupressure,  I'm ok..don't mind me" 🤣

I'm fascinated with it, how you can put a little pain on one part of you and fix other things. I would love to learn all the places. I remember doing it as a kid, I didn't know what accu anything was but I swore I discovered something cool 😆

Feeling so blindsided by the events of this year.

This time, I woke up to the sound of dogs around 3:40am this morning.  They got into my yard and destroyed the cat habitats and killed two of my Fur Babies.  One of the 2 dogs ran into me as I was rushing down to see what was going on, so I got a good look at it.  A medium sized, dark brown and white, stocky built pit bull.  Trene saw both of the dogs trotting down the main street after I chased them out of the yard.  They were still hunting, chasing and barking at things for the next hour, in the distance.

I worked quickly to get things back to a sense of normality for the survivors.  Fortunately, cats live in a "Now" state.  They will know that a couple of them are missing, but they move on to create new normals.

I, on the other hand, feel very drained and tired of stuff like this.  I was so busy trying to protect the area from other people who had been spying into my area that I forgot about the 4 legged variety.

Feeling punchy as dirt.

I had been up since 3:40am yesterday morning to handle the carnage, then had a trip to the vet for a fur baby monthly treatment, then started reinforcing the compound that I finished around 1:45am this morning.

I felt like stomping a mudhole into those dogs who then had nerve enough to return to the scene of the crime yesterday afternoon, while I was working, for more kitty kill sport, which is typical hunter behavior.  All I can say is that they had better be glad that there was a fence separating us.  In this neighborhood, I'm known for chasing down pit bulls and the like, bare foot and empty handed.

I feel a sense of injustice regarding incidents like this and something in me takes over and I feel no fear about going full on old lady crazy on the offender.

I feel that the 3 hours of sleep that I did get, helped calm my emotions somewhat.
