Goth, ex Goth, Re-Goth for the day, The DGNer , Post-DGNer,  Sci Fi , Gamer , Horror Nerd, MTG Player, Ingress player, random Socialite (any of these) gathering  is upon us:

 

The Gathering 5  at The Red Apple Restaurant & Inn

Really Big Sign Hard to miss.  

'Club' attire encouraged but not required.

 

Once you walk in , go past the "counter" and the "little booths" to the larger booth area on the right? (still pondering that one) That's probably the largest "group of tables" to sit/socialize.

*like DGN itself , this is not "kid friendly".  No F-Bombs will be held back.  No sexual innuendos (or straight up sex talk) will be spared.  If you can't get a sitter and your kids are not SUPER well behaved (aka STFU) leave them in a kennel at home with food & water.

Well we survived the "test phase".   The Gathering will be a real thing , regularly on thursday night.   The venue could still change, but is unlikely.   So .... yay!.

It costs me about 4 bucks a week to run this thing, I can't pay that out of my pocket (or at least would prefer not to) thus the small increase in the DGN running goal.

Hope to see you there!   Somebody give this brother a ride!  (DGN is not the 700+ posts a day thing it used to be , so it depends on how many eyeballs see this.  

I probably can't come get you (car issues) plus im broke , barely made it to the GFs just now.  But if you still can't get down there after a week or two I'll try and figure something out.

The cards are done.   If you want one just ask.  

If you want to make sure you get one:

Post here saying you want one (FB posts in terms of the cards don't have any weight)

Get there early ish AND then ask me for one.

 

Only had enough supplies for 6 of them (well 7 but I keep one as a reference) due to just not having the right materials soon enough.  Usually this is enough for people that want them, but I'm guessing at some point it wont be. One of them is a speciall 000 / 005 which won't be repeated.   Even though the name is "The Gathering 5"  this is the first gathering that its been decided this will be a regular weekly event.  So in a sense  "Gathering 5" is ground zero.

I think this might be the first week that demand outstrips supply.   I'm going through my head of who the "auto-includes" are, that is a few people that I know want one, and have done so much for DGN (such as yourself, but please still say you want one, as I'll look at this before I walk in the door of the restaurant to keep who wants one in mind)  that those cards are pretty much already gone except ...  maybe 2.
