7:30 Thursday March 17th

Really Big Sign Hard to miss.  (anyone have a good pic of that place? I don't, and the google pics are kinda crap, at least the ones I found)

 

 

Once you walk in , go past the "counter" and the "little booths" to the larger booth area on the right? (still pondering that one) That's probably the largest "group of tables" to sit/socialize at. Club-ish dress encouraged but not required. 

 

I don't think they serve alcohol but now that I think about it , you did manage to get smashed you could stay there.   Hrmm...   Hotel Party at some point in the future?  (been a million years since I've done one of those)  anyhow...

Yeah I mean on time is always good , but people are sort of "just getting started" for quite awhile after that, just like most things. 

I just assume I'm going to try to do my best to be there on time (didn't make it this time due to some BS) but many perfectly good people are just I think genetically incapable of making it anywhere on time to pretty much anything.  lol  Not that I'd notice at The Red Apple.

Actually I know that guy isn't there. Especially since if you look that black sign on the booth right behind him now says something like "please seat yourself".

 

That one reads get that... "Ask about our accommodations for smokers".  lol.  Historical.

Actually, more historically, that sign read "Ask About Our Accommodations For Non Smokers" 

(The "non" was more visible before I reduced the image size. I remember when we used to go out as a family to eat, we always had to request the "non-smoking" area which always seemed to be the tiniest space located in the back of the dining hall away from any windows...ah the memories.)

Now I'm jealous, I feel left out. I hope to be more available after my brother's wedding this coming Saturday.

I am sooooo sorry. I thought Marblez hair was pretty and she had posted in "The Make Something Up About The Person Above You Game..."

My post was:

Drinks the red of apples to maintain the shine of her lovely locs 

My comment was a play on Marceline from Cartoon Network's Adventure Time.

I have never met Marblez in person so I had no fun plays on personality to go off of. I feel really bad to do this to someone I have never met. I thought the statement was harmless, but I will be more courteous before I post regarding appearances going forward.

TronRP, I was only sad because I had missed my shiny red hair and had gone back to boring brown for so long that I did not have the courage to step it back up. You did not injure me and there is absolutely no way you could have known.

OK, to anyone interested. My little family will be eating out at The Red Apple for Saint Patrick's Day. 

I'm not sure if this qualifies for "The Gathering" because we will be arriving around 5 - 5:30pm. We will probably be leaving by the time everyone starts arriving, but I thought I would let everyone know.

However, it would be nice to see anyone who shows up early

I really wish I could join your family but I work from 4 till close that night.  I am hoping that there will still be people at the gathering when I am able to get there but sadly that might not be until around midnight.

Hopefully I can go again this time. I brought Zombie Fluxx and Cards Against Humanity last time but didn't ask if anyone wanted to play. Anyone interested in me bringing them this time?

 

I'm interested in playing both, but how to do that at the red apple seems mysterious.  At least for me, I can't even finish my food yet alone concentrate long enough to play a full game of Flux and CAH takes like a  kitchen table to play with a large ish group.  Think trying to play them at CC, you could do it, but it would be a pretty hard thing to pull off.   This is like TALKING about such things.  I have "MTG Player" listed as an interested party that might want to show up, but actually playing MTG there , could work, but I'd have to basically ignore everyone to do it.    Like there isn't going to be any "goth clubbing" at the red apple, but I sure talk about it.    Seems like would need  to like go to pandemonium or some other public place that is set up for large groups to play board games specifically.  We could do that one day I think.

I'd say if there are any people there at midnight its just the last few stragglers walking out the door.   It probably won't be relevant right now but , are you locked in to working on thursday like, forever? (not that this will always be on thursday)
