Dang, this is starting to get big! Last week (7/6) almost every seat on the first and second floor was filled, plus some people standing, so no more excuses about you don't wanna come because there's never anybody there. Plus, we're supposed to finally have a decent karaoke selection as well.

Last week? Huh? I was there. The place was dead. I'm confused. But I guess also the last time I was there before 7/6 was the Dark Carnival last October.  I'll probably be there. Hope its a bigger turnout.

Keep in mind that was a Saturday you came on as well. For a Wednesday thats a good turn out, too bad more people didn't show.

This week should be much better, I'll also have a karaoke list for people to read as well.

BTW if anyone has any information on that rocky horror CD let me know. I'd hate to think someone swiped it, but if it mysteriously turns up I won't ask any questions.

So we've had oil, mud, and even blood wrestling, but never cake wrestling... Talk to Chaos about it, maybe next dungeon night they'll do it up.

I've never been there, but I am planning to be in Detroit Wednesday night so I might make it out. What time do things get going?

(If most are arriving past midnight it'll probably make it too late of a night for me).

That might work out, arriving around 10 would give me time to at least say hey to everyone and leave around 11:30. I've been wanting to check the place out for a long time.

Jason doesnt have net access right now. He posts from Sids. I got them way too drunk last night so he didnt get to post much  :devil

Hah. Jason that lyin bastage, he called me yesterday and said he posted. Donkey punch him for me. Then tell em i love him just the same haha.

Although this whole getting dragged, kicking and screaming thing sounds kinda hot. hrmmm.

Onyx its not really a "city club" type place its pretty laid back even when its busy. Its more of a wander around and chat type thing, more like a traditional bar setting... with freaks. :tongue:

That sounds fun, assuming I can spot some of you ;) At Cityclub it's hard to hold a conversation for long.

Silly he did post while we were at Sidneys. He just got too drunk to continue posting. Wonder how that happened? :whistling

      ~~~~~ Actually, I found it got better.  I had to learn to enjoy life.   With "Middle Child Syndrome" you don't have the luxury of certain thoughts or behaviors as you watch everyone else around you living their life and "going through it".  However, there does come a point where what was then is no longer now and you find your voice, then you can start learning what it means to live life as we understand it.   Unfortunately, because that "freedom" comes later in life than most, you end up as an adult living a crash course of "This is Life" without training wheels and it is a scary position to be in while you are still carrying the scars of an inescapable sense of duty and responsibility that defines you as you navigate your new now.  You come across as a somewhat very naïve, yet responsible adult and there isn't a lack of participants waiting in line to take advantage of that beacon.    However, without the emotionally charged state of youth misdirecting you, you are also able to come to lifechanging decisions for your betterment quicker than most, as you are hyper aware of what is coming your way.   Mix that with a bit of new found confidence and you find that you have a voice that can help others to assess their own situations and life choices.   ~~~~~ As for myself, I interact with a lot of young people who are currently "going through it" and I let them know that although they are feeling it, they have to step back and reassess their situation from a different perspective.   Inevitably, however, with age comes the "I'm too old for this..." mindset wakeup moment and then you can truly begin to enjoy what life has to offer.  I just try to help people get to that point a bit more sooner than later.
