Now Watching...

Recommended Posts

Just finished watching "Marvel Rising: Secret Warriors" and I must say that was awkward and almost difficult to sit through.

They kiddiefied as much as they could, threw in a boatload of life lessons and stereotyped as much as possible without trying to be too obvious about it.

The storyline was annoying and they tried to walk the fine line between the loud obnoxiousness of kid shows' yell talking with the calm wit of grown up humor.  Not sure if it actually worked, because in my book, they missed the mark.

Maybe I'm just being too hard on this animated movie because I know the many incarnations of the animated and live action characters of the Avengers as well as the storyline behind the animated version of the Inhumans (never saw the live action).

Internet DESTROYS Tomi Lahren After She Picks A Fight With Michelle Obama

"The Ring of Fire
Published on Sep 26, 2018
Tomi Lahren thought it would be a good idea to attack Michelle Obama over a recent speech where Mrs. Obama advised people to vote for what they believe in. Lahren stated that Obama needs to “sit down” and that her husband, Barack Obama, doesn’t measure up to Trump on any level. The internet wasn’t having it, and Lahren got smacked down hard for her ridiculous comments. Ring of Fire’s Farron Cousins discusses this."

My son was a Columbine shooter. This is my story | Sue Klebold

"TED
Published on Feb 27, 2017
Sue Klebold is the mother of Dylan Klebold, one of the two shooters who committed the Columbine High School massacre, murdering 12 students and a teacher. She's spent years excavating every detail of her family life, trying to understand what she could have done to prevent her son's violence. In this difficult, jarring talk, Klebold explores the intersection between mental health and violence, advocating for parents and professionals to continue to examine the link between suicidal and homicidal thinking. Note: Comments are disabled for this video because YouTube's comment moderation tools are not up to the task of maintaining a quality discourse here. The Haunting Of Hill House.

Anyone else watching this? I now have to sleep with the lights on.:sofa:

I know I'm probably behind the times, but the only ones I know of are the movies made from the original book "The Haunting of Hill House" called The Haunting (1963) and the remake The Haunting (1999).

~~~~~
While I was typing this, I looked up the title and found that there is now a TV series: The Haunting of Hill House (TV Series 2018).
I might have to check this one out.
Hopefully it's worth watching.  I'm getting so tired of "cookie cutter" horror.  I've been watching scary shows for so long I've just about seen all the tricks of the trade.  Now intellectual...there is nothing better...:evil:
...by the way, do I need Netflix to view this...:huh:
    • Pretty awesome. Shift at work was boring as fuck, but I got into some entertaining shenanigans with a Twitter friend to kill the time. She found me a few days ago and started DMing. She also has an onlyfans... Which is only relevant because we have teamed up to pour gasoline into the dumpster fire that is the conservative Jesus circles. She takes the high road, and I took the low road, and boy are people subscribing to her because of it. But yeah, I was going wild on Twitter all day today. Also met one of the guys high up at work who is impressed with what I do. (I literally just sit there and tell people fuck off all day at this job) NOT a hard gig by any stretch of the imagination. But people don't seem to be able to handle it. Whatever. It's 8 hours to look up stocks, fuck around on the internet, or both. My followers are slowly increasing as well. Can't wait to see what shit shows I can clash with tomorrow.
    • I'm thinking I should really have hit the hay a few hours ago, but there is so much going on later today that my brain just can not rest.  But I also don't want to show up to all of today's appointments punchy as dirt.
    • Parked out front the hotel melted to the drivers seat in this big black ass '19 Silverado, windows down, broadcasting far too much of the bass out them subwoofers for what late of an hour in the night that it is atm. Bad Brad Bossman brought his harley with the ape hangers on it out on the road to work. I end up with the work truck whenever he out ridin' the motorcycle once in a while. I abuse his stereo speakers like they was some dirty f'çk'ⁿ wh0res. Pound the hell outta em b!t‽hə$ all night long lol
    • Hell down in my hills we got whole car dealerships that specialize in catering to the huge jacked up truck and tuned turbo diesel market. Our old work truck when i worked here for Bad Brad Mu'f@ckin' McMorrow 2 years ago was from one of um. Thing had 6.6  turbocharged diesel v8 and 5 stages on the programmer, №5 added an extra 200 hp to it. Jacked up so high you had to jump down out the cab too lol.
    • ~~~~~ Yeah, I've been there quite often myself.
