DGN @ City Club, Saturday, August 4th.

Come. Join us. Meet us. Hang out. We're not that scary in person, really.

You enter by going through an unmarked door on the First Street side of The Leland Hotel building just before the gated parking area on the side of the building nearest 1st Street.a The club is at the top of the stairwell. (see picture in the link above in the DGN calendar entry)

All are welcome. Come meet some of us weirdos.

Saturday nights from 10:00 p.m. to 4:30 a.m.

Alcoholic drinks until 2:00 a.m., pop and juices served all night.

Admission is $4

18 and up, 21 to drink with proper ID (no exceptions).

No drugs, weapons, chains or spikes.

We try to have this be the meeting area from 12-1am. If you can help, try to just stay there and mull around even if you don't see anyone, all it takes is a few people.

I wish DGN night was on Fridays. I like Fridays better.

Unfortunately a lot more people are likely to go on saturday over friday, for whatever reason. Did a lot of homework on this over the years. I'm indifferent to the night really. Just needs to be the same night, and the night that largest number of people are most likely/able to go. In the end its just a building, with music. The actual DJs and such change over time, and the (percentage) availablity of people on satruday remains constant. The availiblty of people is the biggest factor to be factored in, in terms of "the whole community" lets call it.

Thats not to say we couldn't have ANOTHER night some other night or some other place, on top of the "normal DGN night". But, that would require a lot more activity than we have now, and more people involved, than the current, DGN might go out of buisness type anemic acitivy/people involved than we have. (need to crack the whip on that front somehow)

I'm going to try.

Starting monday I'm going to be in the hospital like 9-5 all week, which is exausting and hard to deal with, debating if I'll be ok with that second day hangover or not.
