elektrosonik
This Friday, come out for Industrial Revolution: a night focused on newer music and less commonly heard tracks from familiar artists, with DJ Void6 and DJ Elektrosonik behind the decks. Say the code '121' for FREE entry before midnight. Leland City Club 400 Bagley Detroit, MI
DJ Saint
Sounds a LOT like the former Progression nights (http://www.detroitgothic.net/index.php?showtopic=31076&st=0&p=639654&hl=progression&fromsearch=1&#entry639654). The old idiom claims, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery... (you know I kid, sorta...) Regardless, it's INCREDIBLY AWESOME to see both Elektrosonik and Void (who were on the decks for Progression as well) taking a strong initiative to focus a NIGHT on new music (and not just the first 20 minutes when no one is at the club). It's really needed and something that should continue to happen on a regular basis. There's a ton of new music and artist/bands out there very deserving of attention and much more frequent play. Constantly talking with Elektrosonik during :: Industrial Wednesdays @ Mars Bar :: about new artist and often surprised by what is not (yet) getting played at City. For those planning on attending Industrial Revolution - i highly urge you to listen with a bit more open ears/open mind, be less fussy and let Void and Elektrosonik introduce you to some really cool new stuff. You're in for a fun night! Hope the night goes well guys!
DJ Nocker
Sounds like the "Progression" nights that used to happen, which is cool. Also cool that Former Progression DJ's will be doing it. You guys should get DJ Saint in there to do it again if you decide to make this a semi-regular thing. Hope people have a good time, there is alot of cool stuff out there that people dont know about. Get at me via txt/facebook if you need any fancy "spooky" tracks to showcase that night, Mike!
