DGN @ City Club, Saturday, August 6th.

Leland City Club

400 Bagley Street

Downtown Detroit

You enter by going through an unmarked door on the First Street side of The Leland Hotel building just before the gated parking area on the side of the building nearest 1st Street. The club is at the top of the stairwell. (see picture in the link above in the DGN calendar entry)

All are welcome. Come meet some of us weirdos.

Saturday nights from 10:00 p.m. to 4:30 a.m.

Alcoholic drinks until 2:00 a.m., pop and juices served all night.

Admission is $4

18 and up, 21 to drink with proper ID (no exceptions).

No drugs, weapons, chains or spikes.

We try to have this be the meeting area from 12-2am. If you can help, try to just stay there and mull around even if you don't see anyone, all it takes is a few people.

oops... but, far be it from me to cut down on any partying.

If you look up at the DGN banner at the top of the page it shows the founding date, and its also on the bottom of the board to the right) but really the whole year is the "10th anniversary". Not that it was a huge factor but when I start thinking DGN is not worth all the work, part of what keeps me motivated is that even with the random negativity (you wont see much of it as it gets deleted or its in PMs/email) the place has been around a long time, and has had a lot of positive impact over a long time (in internet years). People just tend to throw the baby out with the bathwater if something happens they don't like. (or think they don't like, often its hearsay nonsense.)

As always someone spam me with a text message or call and yell into the phone at like 9pm "HEY GOD DAMNIT YOU getting READY YET???" just in case im in one of my moods and contemplating staying home.
