This week

(7.20.2011)

we welcome guest

DJ Justin Carver

Carver is the man behind Something Cold - a roving dance party and social club celebrating minimal-synth, coldwave, new wave,

electronic body music, post-punk, darkwave, experimental and other lively art and cold pleasure.

Radically confusing and unfashionable since 2009, Something Cold is Detroit's post-industrial reflection.

Dance your misery away under the strobelight funeral.

Justin's musical knowledge is as large as (possibly larger) than his love for music.

His sets fully explore a wide plethora of styles showcasing the hard-to-find,

unique and exciting cold waves, minimal electronics, guitar-wave based music. New and old.

We welcome Justin to Mars Bar this Wednesday for a night sure to be a musical myriad of styles.

Don't miss this one people!

GOS WHY IS EVERY FLYER YOU DO FUCKING AWESOME!?!?

Cause I read too many comic books, have a crazy ass imagination, vivid dreams, drink too much caffeine, depression, mild-boredom, wiener dogs, disgust for seeing half-assed fliers for other nights, I've over-used all other industrial imagery (gears/gas mask/grave stones) already and a prefer not to use comic sans font....

Seriously though, Thanks for the good words! ;)

God I'd love to attend one of these one day to check it out!

I need to figure out how to make this happen...

Well, we are working on finalizing some date(s) that will see Nocker and myself (as well as the possibility of some off our out-of-town DJ friends guesting) spinning- ON A WEEKEND! (GASP!)

Will keep you all posted, but for now prepare and warn the citizens of their impending doooooom! ;)
