PLASTIC PASSION playlist from May 14 90s Night - Next PP is Sat, June 11!

Recommended Posts

Thanks to all who came out to our 90s special edition nite, where we managed to get through an entire decade without *gasp* playing any grunge! Lots of requests, but but five hours was not nearly enough time to get 'em all in, let alone represent all genres. But... we'll be sure to do 90s night again in the future! Props to Stever for compiling all the video clips and thanks again to all the Necto staff who've been 100% awesome since our move to the Red Room. They really are the best venue we've ever worked with!

Plastic Passion will be back to the Red Room on Saturday, June 11th to celebrate our Anniversary as a monthly party! Hard to believe we've managed to make this thing last for 2 YEARS already. No musical theme other than a "best of" return to our original format! And then the Summer of Passion will continue on July 9 and August 13th!

Current 93, Cranes,Blake Babies, Adam Ant,Chapterhouse...I'll be...

And you played a Peter Murphy track that wasn't Cuts You Up - right on.

Josh KNOWS his music incredibly well and often times will lean towards an obscure track or a rarely played b-side in lieu of the more popular (overplayed) track EVERYONE knows. Few months back he threw down a Joy Division track that wasn't Love Will and people went nuts. He always keeps it interesting like that...

You should make plans to attend, and for sure the Aug/September ones (hmmmm... something in the works perhaps)... Always a good time.

Thanks guys, amidst a sea of people constantly coming up to the booth and complaining I'm not playing the *exact* song they want to hear at the *exact* moment they want to hear it, positive feedback like this does help put things back into perspective and makes all the work worthwhile.

We'll have you on in August or September if you're available. Details coming soon...

I think thats everywhere. Usually if someone comes and requests something, I say I will play the band, but the song will be a mystery as I want it to mix well. Im not going to break up the mix just because you want to hear Chrome by VnV Nation RIGHT NOW. LoL
