I had a decent night, got there at about 1 AM with Nicole.

I just missed Raev! :confused:

But last night I saw pRick, TheGimp, Stormknight, Tszura, Nightgaunt, Slogo, Lillylu, Blackjack, IceQueen, TheOsakaKoneko, Riku, Eleven (yay! She is back! :thumbsup: ), TheLelandCityClub, Mstrbeau, and Fin (..sorry if I've missed anyone!).

It was very nice seeing my big brother pRick last night and more then once Mstrbeau allowed Nicole and me to dance in his "dancing space" :p How kind.

I also surprised Fin by changing my appearance on him yet again, haha! At least he remembered who I was (correct?) and complimented me on my puppy and then danced with me.

Overall last night was a fairly good night. I was pleased by it. :happy:

Lots of laughing too.

Wellllllllll, last night was a little off. I try to have a good time no matter what the vibe is, but last night, the more people that showed up, the more lackluster the vibe became. It felt like a dark rave at one point, and I don’t like rave music. I’m not cutting on the skills of whoever was deejaying last night, but the music just wasn’t my bag. Nightgaunt and I looked out at the crowd, and I swear about 75% of the people there last night were 21 and under. When you’re 35 like us, that just makes ya feel old! It was funny, because at the start of the night, we met Willhelm/Teddy Bear/Frat Boy for the first time (even though he’s been bouncing there for 13 years! How the hell does that happen!? Lol), and we were all remarking on how we wished more old schoolers would come back. I sure felt the depth of that wish last night! As usual, though, when I’m having a boring time, my DGN family is there to perk me up! Thanks guys!

I want to start by thanking everyone whom showed up to our last video shoot pre-city opening. Ill post more in the video thread about that!

I had a great night despite some minor dramma at the end. But that was quickly fixed :)

I must say its been getting much better and I have been loving it agian. I was there from about 8 to clossing! Ok so I saw Nightgaunt and Tszura and I will tell my lady, Gimp, LMLC, Xilla toxic, Eevee, MsterBeau, Storm knight, Crank, Raev, Black Jack, Eleven, Lilly lu, Slogo and Bloodcupcake. Loved seeing you all!

I had a great time both nights this weekend. I was pleased with the music and got to dance a lot, and Saturday I had a great time talking to lots of friends. Friday had the best playlist I've heard in a while so I never left the floor, but Saturday was still more fun because of all the great people I got to see. <3<3 Both nights this weekend were great. I hope for a repeat next week! :)

You were all very easy to work with and it was my pleasure to host you.

I showed up unexpectedly, thanks to a friend convincing me I needed a night out that was NOT after a performance. I talked to many of my lovely DGN friends and met Slogo. Somehow, I missed dancing with Fin, even though we said we were going to at the bar. Oh well, I still got hugs! I drank a lot for me, considering I am always coming after a show, driving, or both. I had 2 Marvin Long Islands and half a Vampires Kiss. Then I danced for an hour and a half straight in my 6" heels without falling! Win! I had a nice time, and definitely need to squeeze in going out, non performance related, more often.

      Settling in from a very busy day of auto repair. rental car return and late afternoon yardwork that just wrapped up a little before 10pm.   Now it's time for food and beverage.

      About to get this day started.  Yesterday, my vehicle was towed to our neighborhood service center and was started on.  I also took care of multiple appointments and errands.  Now I'm about to verify orders and then start on yardwork detailing.

      I’m feeling the temptation to get dressed and go out to the store to get some dessert.  I’m also feeling restraint because I’m not going to do that, even though I physically feel the temptation.

      I had two dreams last night. The first was about a man in a director-level importance coming and going from his office. He had trouble with his feet, and it was painful for him to walk. He wore large, warm boots similar to mukluks but comically large. He shuffled while wearing them. When it came time for an important meeting, he switched to a different, more normal boots and walked normally despite being in pain. Then he returned to the large boots. I was watching him from a mall bench outside his office the entire time. The second was about me and my coworker sitting in a room similar to a large, tiered lecture hall. Our boss would bring us comically tall stacks of paper and told us to sort it. The papers were large packets of information on various things, and most of it was basically meaningless. We pointed this out, and my boss shrugged and said "I know" and gave a sympathetic half-smile. There was no way to sort it in a way that mattered. Eating strong cheese before bed is a fun experience. I highly recommend experiencing cheese dreams at least once in your life.
